Well i value Elphick at 0 because he's shit and if we can recoup 12 mill for McCormack that is a great deal

i'd seriously go 6 mill for Mccormack on his own, or 5 mill if you take Elphick as well - so i guess i value him at -£1mill?!

  2. glad to hear he played like i thought i remembered him - i always thought he was physical, direct, quick and whipped good crosses in whenever i saw hull (which admittedly was  well over a couple of yrs ago and not very often cos Hull are boring as **** ).

Only takes a couple of lines on the official website these days and that's certainly manned at weekends.

True, but after "Welcome Remy" a couple of lines probably has to go through about 8 different stages of review.

  4. Rowett is EXACTLY what we need. He's tailored made for eradicating the mercenary, don't give a f**k culture we have had for the past 5 years. I have mate who is close to a few down the blues and they say no-one steps out of line with him.

It actually frustrates the hell out of me that we are where we are and he is free and available.

The added bonus of rubbing it in the bluenose's faces too would be priceless.

Literally if we sacked Bruce we start the same cycle that keeps putting us in this place. He needs way more time, we can't keep sacking managers, we need to give them real time to reshape the squad.

Can we just sack this one though and then do the give em loads of time thing?

  6. "He broke down again during his recovery period and, after 18 months out, was eased back into the side with two full and five substitute appearances at the end of last season, in which he scored seven goals.

    Jesus, that's decent

  7. Not fussed about the fee looking a bit OTT.

For me, its the same as betting on the horses, don't worry about the price, just pick the right one and pay what you can afford.

We only mentioned Mccormack's fee cos he's crap. I don't know what the actual Kodjia fee rises to and i couldn't give a shit (and likely never will) because he does the job. For me, looking at the videos and his age and experience, Hogan has a bit of scope about him which i like. The likes of Gestede, Mccormack, Rhodes are players who play a certain way and whose top level to date is the best you can hope to get (and that is essentially what you are paying for). Hogan reminds me of a Charlie Austin at the same age (ableit Charlie had done more by then) in that the risk vrs potential reward seems just right.
