We should have a forward/winger signed the week we fly out to the states thats my prediction, i think the other forward player comes much later in the window.

Dont think we sign a player that a couple of commentators including gary neville has raved about throughout an entire match more or less for 18 will be at least 25m

My ambition goal is to secure a top five finish and beat Man United,Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool at least once and win some silverware (ideally the FA Cup) I would like to look at a team when playing against the likes of these and say im more than happy to kick off the match with this eleven and go for the kill…adding to what we’ve got a goncalves and Felix/Williams would give me that confidence. Starting to get annoyed with not pinching a win against City and we haven’t beaten United enough for all the times they have slapped us up over the years likewise with arsenal and liverpool… I DONT LIKE THEM !

Yeah i agree 98% of those links had legs Goncalves and Williams id bite your right arm for as they are much more of an upgrade in players to what we have in those positions, just add a back up GK to that list and yes we would have had a strong window, something tells me D.Carlos doesnt stay i have a weird feeling.

I think we need to bring in two players in those forward areas and sacrifice/sell one well two actually three if you include Bertie and coutinho, actually we could keep both if Bailey is the rotation option to the new RW/FW and buendia can cover multiple areas depending on formation in games. So waiting on how it pans out then it is okay for us to keep both and have them in our plans but way more minimal to last season. The Ramsey LW position was more a default feature i know he doesn’t play that further forward but was unable to change it up, he would play slightly further back yes, and that SS your referring to could that be Joao Felix …. Question would Pino be a drastic noticeable improvement on bailey?

A rough idea on how we would set up We’re all for Ramsey and Watkins as main starters or on the team sheet for most games, im not sure ramsey has shown in the consistency required to crack that top 5 door as of yet but he does keep improving, i would probably try sign Goncalves for ramsey position and then rotate on a regular basis. I think emery plays mings and Pau instead of Konsa and not sure if he will play konsa or cash at RB. I think either buendia or bailey should be offloaded imo but put them on the bench anyway Subs New GK Konsa Tielemans Goncalves Buendia Digne Bailey Duran

Yeah lets stop whinging about no transfers, way too much time left plus we wrapped up some top of the range deals already, but i’d like everyones thoughts on the following; ideally we need to sign two attacking forward players, now assuming Ramsey would start on the left of Watkins would we sign someone who is superior and start that player or instead sign someone of lets say a Gnonto type who would be accepting to the idea he is number two to Ramsey. Now the other side would be bailey being replaced, not forgetting Duran is currently back up to the main central role to Watkins, ideally need a hybrid player out the two. Thoughts?

Well it would be competition for ramsey as he looks to play further forward toward the flank but mcginn is in the middle of a three just out to the right slightly more and thats where tielemans can also play, so tielemans can step in for mcginn and luiz if needed, and thats if he doesn’t start more games then not.

Yeah when first mentioned until you delve deeper and common sense would prevail…but he would be far from the worst signing but no way near what some are thinking … fancy name, spanish, played for city and barca of course its gonna automatically get you thinking we are trying to sign a modern day maradona

I wouldn’t say he was incredible but if it was only torres and the other player mentioned then yes would be disappointing, it would need to be torres and felix/williams for it to be considered a success. I get he was young etc but i think most of us would have started off feeling excited about such links until we look into it more and assess it accordingly and it isn’t all that great as it looks.

Would love to sign Leroy Sane to step in for Bailey’s position that would be a major coupe and make us a real force but tell me when to wake up

Unless we have secured the other prioritised positions and have room for another LB then maybe a possibility perhaps towards the end of the window. But in terms of seeing links saying villa have submitted a offer for XYZ then what I am saying is deem it to be FALSE because we are not looking in those areas, whether you trust the management or not i’m just saying it would not be true.
