He seems lost without the management of Smith, its similar with England
i dont think its that he is lost without Smith, but that he benefits when he is the centre of attention, allowed to just go and do his thing, no strings, no responsibilities, where he can just go out and fully express himself, and the play revolves around him.
Unfortunately, he was only allowed to do this at Villa, not with England, and certainly not with Man City.
Its amazing how average he looks when Man City dont "play to his strengths", he really doesnt suit their style of play...at all.

at the end of the day, if Gerrard wants him, im on board, if he doesnt...we wont sign him!
-
i suppose the only real point to make, is it doesnt look like he is a "no.6", if this is the case, do we really need another no.8?

Very concerning
tbf, hard to judge i think, if you took any of our players, and found their top 10 mistakes in the last 3+ years, every one of them could have a highlight reel that made them look like Mr Bean, these stats look ok tho:

Ok . Was going to say that i would leave it i the hands of our scouting department but that doesnt sound good for what we need
ye, interesting, if he cant handle the press in italy, he sure wont handle the press in the PL.

Personally, if a very good offer came in, i would sell.
Not that i want to get rid of him, he's a good player, a very good player on his day, but if we are serious about progressing to challenge for the top 6, imo you dont build a team around McGinn, he would be a good squad player if we actually wanted to push the club on.
At least imo.

I get that they misunderstood, it’s how they misunderstood which was so confusing. It was dumb and ‘questioned’ is kind to how he was being portrayed.
ye it was silly for sure.

Either he’s had a personality transplant or some people were wrong about his ‘attitude’
Not to defend the people who questioned his attitude, but if i were to try and understand their comments, imo its that they misunderstood his arm flapping etc, that was actually anger with himself as he knows he can do better with passes etc, for his annoyance with others and maybe petulance.
Clearly his anger, annoyances and arm flapping were directed at himself as he obviously holds himself to high standards.
He has a great attitude imo, to be such a silky, skilful player who also works his proverbial balls off, cant ask for more tbh.

He starts for both Juve and Uruguay. It would be an unbelievable coup to pull him away from Juve.
correct his surname spelling m8!

would be a class signing.
I would say "lol not a chance", but this window has taught me to not be quite so scathing of transfer targets usually marked as "way out of our league".
Seems a strange link though, not sure why Juve would want to sell him, he has regularly played this season.
Also @Delphinho123 its spelt Bentancur.

Haven't seen any links. But villa went from 10/1 to 11/8 to sign Aaron Ramsey (the Welsh one)
i flippin hope not.

exactly the player you want to come on for the last 5-10 mins when Everton are launching everything and the kitchen sink in to the air towards the end.
good option to have 4 sure.
