I can’t believe how much mass hysteria has built up over a few lines on nonsense in the Daily Star. There is not a single piece of evid3nce that suggests Henry is coming to the Villa. The two new owners are not the sort to make rash decisions. They are serious business men who will take a medium to long term view. Business development is what they do. Bruce is the current Villa manager and it will stay that way for the foreseeable future.

Can I point out that in that masterpiece of waffle and puffery from the Daily Star that nowhere does it say the the new owners have actually spoken to Henry. This is nonsense.

Not sure I understand any of this financial malarkey, tbh. Who is paying off theses mortgages? If it’s Recon or Aston Villa, then whose money are they using, as I though we hadn’t got any.

Mate of a mate was a group board director of Adidas until earlier this year. I’ve asked him to do some digging.

Introduced to all things Villa by my dad in the 60’s. Allowed to sneak under the turnstiles by the man on the gate, passed down to the front, right on the edge of the pitch whilst my dad stood with his mates further back. Massive crowds, the noise, the drama. Loved it and very happy days. Moved away in 70s and now rarely pass through Birmingham, but have always remained faithful, difficult down here surrounded by Chelsea and Arsenal fans. My dad will be spinning in his grave with all the recent trials and tribulations, he’d be heartbroken. But we’ve been here before (old division 3 anyone?) and we will rise again. Up the Villa!!
