He was on £13m a year at PSG, and £8.5m a year at Spurs. We’d need to come Close to the Spurs salary to tempt him.
Performance bonuses would do it.Getting into Europe would cover a 5 mil bonus !!!

This i agree with actually excellent breakdown…. BUT ill still dream of hiring a Poch level manager … hold on there fella didn’t Everton hire some guy named carlo Ancelotti
It all depends if Poch wants to return to the Premier, if he does the Villa would be perfect for him. I don't see any of the big six hiring anytime soon so Villa would be a great fit for him. They have shown they are prepared to spend and have ambition.

Was he terrible when he got you to 5th 2 years running and won the FA Cup?
Or is it that he can't be arsed as you sell players now and don't replace them
He won with the team that he inherited & the team has gradually declined with him at the helm. He has alienated certain players & stubbornly stuck with others who underperform ..

I'm reading that if Gerrard gets fired you may be interested in Brendan Rodgers.. I'm torn because he is a terrible manager who will slowly run your into the ground & I don't think you deserve that.
But, Oh Lord I want him gone so bad .. so please please take him.

Beale doing very well at QPR is no surprise
He is a very smart football man who I'm sure will end up managing in the Premier

We will lose this. Their fans will be bang up for it with their first ‘local’ home derby of the season. I can see a scrappy 1-0 loss. Hey, at least that will surely spell the end for that clown Gerrard.
Forest are a threat to score but are horrible defensively !! I would be shocked to see Villa shut out against them !!

Leicester fans I know despise Rogers. Say he is just way too negative and always makes terrible subs. They often take the lead in games then he messes up by trying to sit on it and making poor changes.
How true that is I wouldn't know.
Leicester fans desperately want to see the back of Rodgers !! I would not wish him on you !!
He is a B.S specialist who takes no responsibility .

You are more than welcome to Brendan Rodgers !!
All smoke and mirrors with no substance !! He talks a big game but is tactically inept. You might just as well stick with Gerrard rather than put up with the Rodgers blame game.

He sounded a bit flat and disillusioned about the club's lack of incoming deals this summer. Saying he hopes they will be in the hunt for European qualification, but that expecting progress from previous seasons is unrealistic.
If the club decide to cash in on Fofana and/or Tielemans the time might be right for a parting of the ways.
I would Love to see Rodgers get pissed off & leave. He is very over rated & lacks any kind of defensive coaching ability.
Tielemans is going for sure & I expect Fofana to go to Chelsea for 85 big ones. We have drifted sideways under Rodgers !!

£40m player scores + £37m player comes on as sub. But hey Liverpool aren't big spenders.
Yes they are big spenders but the are also big sellers. They maintain an excellent net spend every year.

For me it's Everton !!
They are a horribly run club that have spent their money very poorly. Plus I cant stand Lampard, Richarlison or Pickford !!

They play tomorrow and midweek. Also will likely rest a few ahead of their Euro Conference SF
Yes ... Newcastle tomorrow & Everton on Wednesday. We will definitely be resting players for the Conference Semi-Final against Roma on Thursday.

So they play 3 tough away games before they play us next week, Trips to PSV, Newcastle and Everton.
Surely 4 games in 9 days for them should be in our favour considering we’ve had a 2 week break to freshen things up.
Bookies have us 6/4 favourites for this and probably justified given the above
I'm surprised that Leicester are underdogs for this one when we are at home ! Just 4 points between the two clubs with both teams being a bit hit & miss this season. We have most of our team back from injuries now & Brendan has been rotating players for the last few games. Hopefully we can stay injury free & Jamie Vardy will be able to play. I will be getting a bet on Leicester now with the odds being so good though & hope for the best. It's usually a good close game !!

I just don't see that he can be sacked without an absolutely disastrous end to the season.
He's made us a mid table side Premier League. Of course we'd like to be better than that, but the owners will give him time to bed in and have an offseason to shape his team.
If you take a league table from November 11th when he joined until now, we're sitting 10th with 26 points from 20 games. Again, not great, but not disastrous and enough to give him a summer.
I would be absolutely shocked if he was fired this Summer. He will get a transfer window & a training camp to justify his tactics & style of play.

I was silently speculating to myself a couple of days ago, but without formulating the sentence, just a vague idea that drifted across my consciousness, that we might try for Madueke.
Is that the same as thinking ??

We've been linked with Tielemans. Another non starter I would say.
It seems that Tielemans want Champions League football.

It’s surprising that Terry hasn’t linked up with him as of yet
There hasn't been much talk about Terry going anywhere.
I don't think Frank wants any competition for the limelight.
