  1. we started off brilliantly luke young one two on the edge of the box dragged his shot wide should of scored, we had another couple of chances Milner was always floating around offering an option to who ever had possession we knocked it around really well. the first goal was real quality. most of the stadium screaming at Milner to shoot he played a slide rule pass and put in Dunny who crashed it into the net like he was takin a goal kick. Milners goal was class the ball was played thru to Gabby I think the hull keeper come rushing out to head it into touch. we took the throw quick and the goalie was still running back so Milner dinked it over the defenders and it bounced beautifully into the net. Carew's pen was an exorcet missile straight down the middle. Bullard was bossing it but attempting to foul our player he landed heavily and was fkd. he tried to play on and collapsed again and then again in the dug out. Hull are fkin foulers especially that nasty clearing in the woods fagan. It was funny our friends in the north ripping stephen hunt to shreds while he was waiting to take a corner. Good win and a good performance although we took our foot off the gas 2nd half.
  2. i think we were planning to defend the 18 yard line we should of gone to 4-5-1 quicker. Carew was sinking deeper and deeper so there was nothing up front to pump it up to. sidwell should of come on for carew instead of reo coker and be told to get into the box when ever the wingers had it. he came on in a defencive role and sat on the edge of the D. we were good first half but crap 2nd. I hope Collins comes back soon.
  3. i heard this debate on talksport on my way home. it reminded me of years ago way back when I was in a resturant with a few of my mates. my one mate is a copper and always stickin his nose in. well some women were bein a bit rowdy so he went over and told them he's a copper and to keep it down. they did for a bit. then one come over and started belting him over the head with her stiletto heel shouting nee naw (kiddie police car noise) my other mate got up and just banged her out. then what seemed like every bloke in the resturant got up and was like 'oh you hittin women are you' and we got our árse's kicked proper! I was "rescued" by a bouncer who threw us out. across the road we could see the silhouette's thru the blinds of people still fighting throwing tables etc. my copper mate said 'come on lads, lets finish what we started' phuck that! i was out of there. i think some women think they're untouchable, givin it large in clubs then fetching lads over cos they can't take it back.
  4. emphatic win for us, I was worried about what today held for us but I was lifted when I saw the team sheet, the return of Luke Young and Nigel and Sidwell in the engine room. Some great work by the wingers today, Young was clinical with his finish and he saw loads of ball I think it's comming together for him again. Milner gave the usual James Milner performace 100% graft but added crosses the get over the first man. Carew deserved man of the match, he's a powerhouse when he's up for it like today, the ball just sticks to him. Cuellar was classy aswel, there's real competition for the defender shirts now. The whole team were fantastic. Bit of a flukey goal for bolton we had switched off completely. Good to see Delph get a run out and Gardner clattering people muhahhahah!
  5. Carew for me has to be relegated to the bench for the next game. he's not pulling his weight. I thought Collins, Warnock and Cuellar were the best players for us. Another goal for gab and Heskey involved so he should have a chance to start next match. We're unlucky not to get 3 points. It was very windy, raining and sun was in our eyes 2nd half and it was a scrappy game but wolves are total árse gravey, we'd destroy them at Villa Park just a load of body builders who take long throws. It's always tough in a local derby, but it's going to be tough away at burnley and stoke so I'll take the point.

    The dugout!

are those recaro's really that comfy? I've been in my mates corsa vxr and the seats were pretty hard but kept you in place. ones in a jag are very comfy tho
  7. lucky they delayed the kick off I was running late. thought we were the better side from the off should of had a penalty, and even though they passed it around sharply we had more urgency. Couldn't believe it when drogba scored I think it bounced infront of Friedel but I was cursing anyway. Dunne and Collins are awesome. I can't believe we've just thrown these pair together for the collective sum of curtis davies. Feel as though we're rock solid now. Excellent delivery for both goals Ashley toiled all day without much luck, he was up against a brick wall in bosingwa I think he needs a goal to bring his swagger back. Petrov was magnificent in midfield, breaking up play and winning balls he had no right to. Talismanic Sidwell put in his usual shift. My only gripe was with Carew he seemed lethargic, I remember a piece of play where a ball goes out for a throw and he was too busy jogging over to the chelsea player who tackled him to shake his hand than show for the ball. Although he did up the graft towards the end. Heskey come on and did a job of putting his huge arse in the way of the ball up the corner. What a win!
  8. go 4-5-1 let them have possession in the not too dangerous areas then hit them on the break. I'd take a 1-1 they are very physically strong and dangerous from every area of the pitch but play like we did first half against man city and we can get something.
  9. well in the pre match thread I said we should go 4-5-1 but O'Neill got it right by going 4-4-2. It was only when we stopped attacking them they came into it and got the goal. First half we were absolutely brilliant, we worked so hard, towering leapl by Dunne and should of had a penalty when Young was brought down. 2nd half we played too deep and the goal was coming for about 15 mins when Ireland came on. Collins was again majestic. What a buy he was. Ashely Young looked dangerous tonight hope he isn't injured Sidwell looked a bag of nerves in a 4-4-2 but somehow his presence means we pick up points. Carlos Cuellor's distribution was as usual dodgy. Warnock got caught a few times Barry was total gash I can't believe they paid 12m for that lump of lard buhahahahahaha! but I was happy with a one one score line at full time.
  10. we will need to produce a counter attacking master class. 4-5-1 goes without saying. Petrov Reo Coker and Sidwell. They should know all about Barry after training with him for years. I think a draw is a likely outcome. The only worry is MON might look at their defence and decide to go 4-4-2 we wouldn't be able to cope in centre mid with the movement especially Ireland
  11. my exact words were "oh for phucks sake."
  12. i don't care who we play away from home we've got to go with 4-5-1 at least for 60 minutes. it's just so obvious that it works
  13. Great result we had all the best chances Milner must have had about 4 quality chances and we had about 3 break aways after we scored. The defence looks more solid as it's been for ages. Blues kicked Ashley Young all over the pitch, he does take a lot of flak for the team. Collins looked brilliant we've won 4 on the trot now. terrific fantastic
  14. I think the blues game is too early to bring him back and too much of a pressure cooker. those jokers would chant anything to put him off his game. Any way you don't change a winning team.
  15. maybe we could go 3-5-2 at home? like on about 70 minutes if we're struggling to break thru
  16. Reo coker and Sidwell must play. Pack that midfield out. Carew isn't going to be fit so Agbon should lead the line on his jack jones. Maybe Young can join him now and again. there's no point in him hanging balls into the box If there's no carew to head them. Young must restart tracking back especially if he looses possession. We should set out for a nil nil draw, make it the worst football match the premier league has ever seen. I agree the fans should boo.....if the players give their all for the jersey. the distinct lack of leaders on the pitch means if we do concede we're in for a mullering.
  17. Well what a rubbish performance. We got what we deserved. Delph got a baptism of fire. There is no protection for him and we're too open in the midfield. There's acres between him Petrov and Young. Ashley Young was crap he just tried to take 3 or 4 players on and fall over gifting the other team possession. The defence are absolutely sheight. Cuellar is a headless chiicken and Curtis Davies would struggle in the championship. And Shorey. I can't believe he's still at the club. Can't believe Carew didn't start or come off the bench. Agbonlahor? was he on the pitch? forget about south africa mate. mind you in his defence some of the balls he gets played are an utter joke. Petrov could of easily dinked one round the corner for him to turn and chase but instead played it right to his feet with his back to goal and defender right up his trumpet. The only good thing about this result is it might crow bar the lock off randy lerners wallet and force O'Neill into a couple of panic buys. Upson and Haagaland. Davies and Cuellar are a strikers dream ticket.
  18. I think it's a joke the way the summers panned out. We'd known for a long time we'd loose Barry and Laursen and here we are with no bona fide replacements. 3 points today is a must or the knives will be out.
  19. I can't see a way back for Hatton now. He don't live his life right for a start. I've been to a few uk fights and I wouldn't pay another 80 quid to see him fight some nobodys. Or stay awake till stupid o'clock. The only fight I'd be watch would be Hatton Khan.
  20. why should i have to have an ID card? they should bring them in for anyone who lives here but isn't born in england.
