Me believing in a god doesn’t have anything to do with it.

God does not have anything to do with it either. I am just pointing out the discrepancy between your avowed doctrine and your actions regarding vaccinations.

  2. Take polio as an example ... it's on the verge of eradication. The chances of getting it in the West are minimal. We do have some secondary infections from weakened versions of the vaccine. But the wild poliovirus is almost gone, just in the Afghan/Pakistan region. The problem is if we stop vaccinating in the West it can come back all too easily.

If you want the vaccine fine if you don’t fine. No one should be made to feel bad for not having it and not continuing to have it. I’m not at all anti vax, I’ve decided not to continue but that could change.

No one should be made to feel bad about anything. Not even about being a Blues' supporter.

That you decided not to continue is fine. Just take a look at your underlying motivations and how do they comport with your adopted doctrines.

No more vaccines at this point of my life, maybe when I’m older touch wood if required.

I am surprised about this. You claiming allegedly to be a Christian n' all.

    I'm from King's Heath and it wasn't Warwickshire when I lived there  🤣 unless there's a village I don't know about

You must be one of those good-for-nothing, know-nothing youngsters my Dad was always on about.

  6. Born in Toronto ... grew up in Warwickshire ... a little place called Kings Heath.

Seen Villa play four times ... twice at Villa Park, once at the Sty and once at Carrow Road.

Since 1980, lived elsewhere, mainly Canada.

Don't get to many home games ... but would like to watch Villa at Vila Park once more before I die.

  7. Of the fit players, I think we started our strongest eleven.
Villa were the strongest team, even in second half
    Only used one substitute... interesting
Diaby seemed to be 'off', but also was not getting a lot of service.

    Martínez, Good
    Cash, Really good
    Konsa, Really good
    Torres, Good
    Digne, Really good
    Kamara, Really good
    Luiz, Really good
    McGinn, Excellent
    Tielemans, Excellent
    Diaby, Average
    Watkins, Good
    Bailey 61', Really good

  8. Two things

    1) I suspect the intent is if say Dougie shoots and defender gets his foot head in the way and the ball goes to Ollie behind him in an offside position behind him then it is an offside.

    2) Regardless of what VAR says, is it not the on field referee's final decision that counts?

  9. Villa were the better side and deserved the win.

    1. Lenglet's goal was not offside
    2. Their goal looked offside to me
    3. A goal for Diego
    4. The corner was part of the comedy of errors that occurred, but was understandable
    5. Beautiful assist Dougie, lovely goal Ollie
    6. A lot of solid performances, no dreadful ones

Ball in the back of the net three times is hardly "toothless". Three headers ... indicative of a solid low-block defence.

Apart from that, we were awful against a team that is only second in the Netherlands' first division.

Nothing stopping these little swines grabbing one out of their kitchen drawer at home though! So yes, if caught with one, harsh punishments should be handed out.

How about advocating for an effective punishment or perhaps a consequence?

I have never heard “To Sir, With Love” before (just listened - nope)

I am amazed you have never heard of it before. She was the lead actress in the film of the same name and Sydney Poitier was the lead actor.

You can check whether your water is hard or soft on this website. Although, I'm slightly confused - I put in my old Birmingham postcode, and it stated that it was a soft water area. Which doesn't seem to tally with the map on the site:

It's probably the softness of the local geographic water on the map. There should be a little pale blue line from the Elan Valley to Birmingham. ;)

There are definite racial undertones to some of the current protests

I can't help but suspect that it is more religious than racial. There is the Islamic - Jewish chasm, and then the political aspects, left - right.

Hamas full well knew what the result would be of their incursion. Israelis know full well what the results of their reprisal will be.

My particular bias is that I hold the Israelis to a higher standard than I do its neighbours.
