They also have Kapustka who was at Leicester but looks like he's injured
Isn't Kapustka reserved for a certain underperforming manager.

I think the private jet terminal is on that side of the airport.
Thanks ... it certainly looked like the old Elmdon. Thought they would have knocked it down by now.

Am I mistaken or is that the old Elmdon?

I believe I also avoid beliefs. I believe I could give reasons for why I avoid beliefs.

Glenn Loury is another person I have a lot of time for.

Funny how he can think himself to be something he’s not (we judge him by his actions rather than his opinion of himself) but doesn't believe others should be allowed to be who they are.
And how do you think of yourself? How familiar are you (and your cohort) with classical British liberal philosophy?

Here's a lecture from Peterson ... The preceding lectures Ieft me disinterested or not agreeing. The subsequent lectures in this series are what I would want from a lecturer. And this is coming from someone who disagrees fundamentally with Peterson.

He's Christian conservative
I think you are wrong .... The answer is complicated. I suspect he is more in the tradition of Joseph Campbell. Is he conservative ... on some things perhaps eg grievance studies etc. On the other hand, he thinks of himself as classically British liberal from a philosophical point of view at least.
He is middle of the road from my perspective.- 1

Peterson ... I find he gets some things right and some things wrong

OK I'll play Blackstone's Ratio
Better that ten guilty persons escape, than that one innocent suffer.
Just ignoring the ratio for the moment ... In our minds are Blackstone's guilty persons innocent? -

BBC website has Dendoncker as third in the MOTM ratings, WTF?
Are people just on the wind-up?
On his brief cameo ... two people rated him a 7 and one a 6 ... more or less.

it's controlled and designed to pull them out from being set
Palace did not get the memo till about the 87th minute. But generally, I agree Watkins is fine.
I would like our 'control' to be a bit quicker whilst we are pulling the opposition out of shape. And as you say, it will come.
-
The problem for Watkins is the ponderous build from the back. Watkins is playing against a set defence most of the time.

I read the last sentence and thought, what's the point in coming on to a message board and posting an opinion then? To each their own though
There is a serious flaw in your reasoning ... the flaw was, you thought I was serious.

You must have watched a different game, from the Upper Trinity the ref was inconsistent and got a lot wrong, it was 9 minutes added on not 16 but then there was the penalties that dragged the time out to 14 minutes, not sure where you got 16 from. Palace didn’t contain Digne, he put loads of crosses in.
According to the TV recording the whistle blew at 106:34.

This is what I saw/felt etc.
Villa were stodgy ... extremely slow build-ups, two passes or more where one might have been more effective.
Despite this Villa were the better team; just.
A lot of passes went astray or were intercepted.
A draw would have not been an 'unfair' result.
Duran coming on gave Villa a bit of physicality that they were missing. Oh, and a pretty nice goal too.
Palace contained Digne
Pau still acclimatizing the the Premier.
The penalty? Could have gone either way, thought it was the correct call, but I can see why Palace fans may feel aggrieved.
16 min added time ... about right probably, but wow.
Luiz,player of the match.
Emery? The subs were good ... the style of play ... I'm not sure.Referee ... was consistent, let a lot go in terms of dodgy tackles; carded niggly bits of gamesmanship.
And, all disagreeing should be considered faulty and will be thoroughly ignored.- 1

I remember the good old days when players from both sides were respectfully applauded on and off the pitch. A missed pass was met with a rueful sigh and a gentle shrug. Never were they shouted at disparagingly or hurtful songs projected down from the stands....
Oh, yeah right, this has happened forever.
Grow up all concerned.
I sort of agree with you. Today top football players are paid "millions" and perhaps people have lost sympathy for the wayward pass etc. It's not an excuse but it is a factor.
As for Maguire ... I would not want my Mum coming to my defence publicly.

I gather the game was disappointing. Luckily (apparently) I could not find a stream to watch it.
Something to consider ... the universe is fundamentally at least chaotic. Football is part of the universe, or at least it was the last time I looked.
This too will pass; get over it.
