Not sure about that. Sessegnon is probably the best LB in the division, and Fredericks is one of the better RBs. They only conceded 4 more than you did this season.

Its alright, next season we'll reach 60 points by Christmas, that way we might still reach the playoffs after our bad half of the season.

If Fulham end up in the playoffs (fairly likely) then they are the best side in it for sure. After that I'd probably say yourselves, Derby then Boro

You've had scouts watching Joe Bryan a few times this year, so I'd like to be the first to say- hands off! Apparently we are valuing him at £15m which is an awful lot for a LB, albeit one who is more than capable as a LM as well. I can't see him leaving unless to a Prem side, so would likely depend on you going up. Everton have been linked with him too, but they've been getting linked to him for the last 4 years. He was also scouted by Southampton a few years ago, but nothing came of it.

Flint sent off for sliding in to try and score from a cross Laughable when it isn't you though. Edit- apparently he hit a PNE player, in which case a deserved red. Radio commentary can be useless at times

They are woeful. We went 3-0 up without getting out of first gear. Then we had a 4th disallowed, scored 2 own goals and gifted them another.

We're currently giving Preston their annual home win againt us. Their goal being literally passed to them by one of our defenders.

Of all teams in the league, Villa should find FFP a problem least. Parachute payments give yourself- and the other relegated sides- a distinct advantage as that's 40m odd the others don't have. You also have bigger crowds than most teams, which adds up too. What it is that's "strangled" you is the obscene wages players were on prior to relegation.

Took 4 points from our games against them this season, which won't be bettered by many. Think they led against us and we equalised, the points were never ours to drop (I do see your point mind)

I was here when we were drawing and losing too! We're still in with a shout of promotion, just not in the autos. After our recent form we could be the side who goes on a good run late on to go up!

We're putting your result against Wednesday to shame right now. Them having about 16 players injured is a bit of a help, can see why the clun were so desperate not to have the game postponed.

Johnson is in absolutely no danger of being sacked this season, it's just the idiotic, short termist, expect everything yesterday element of our fans being vocal. My only big criticism of him is he has had a big patch of bad form (circa 2 months unbroken) every winter for the last 3 years including his time at Barnsley. I think when this happens he starts to tinker too much which prolongs it.

Honestly anyone calling for his head right now is an embarrassment to the club. We are in shocking form right now and must turn in around soon, but perspective is needed. We were among the favourites for relegation and no one really expected us to finish any higher than mid-table (I would be placed as a "happy clapper" by many but consider myself a realist and expected we'd finish 12-14th). I still believe we have enough to make the playoffs, and if we do so then we will be in good form as the season ends, which is always a bonus as the playoffs start.
