Never seen Villa dominated like that this season but every Villa player has been awful and that’s being kind.

Fantastic first half performance by Villa with the usual drop off by a team so far ahead in the second.

Thought Luiz’s assists for two of the goals were worth MOTM. However I still feel he needs to perform like this consistently instead of 1-5 games. Want him to dominate Man U next week!

Cameo by Iroegbunam was good to see even though he lost possession a few times. Looks comfy on the ball with physicality.

Villa haven’t done enough in the January window to secure a CL place. Squad is too weak to sustain top five while also playing in Europe.

Think Man U will overtake Villa as they are getting their better players back from injury and I can’t see Villa finishing ahead of Spurs either.

Could also miss out on European football altogether.

Presently I have Villa finishing 7th-8th.

Was never the same player when his hair was cut. 

Surprised none of the Premiership bottom six have come in for him especially when his fee would be fairly cheap.

Wages maybe an issue but he must be aware that he won’t get anywhere near the wages he’s on at the Villa if he wants to play football!

Think he will turn out to be a very good signing and keep Diaby on the bench which is no bad thing.

Watching the Pool v Chelsea. From tee to green best 1st half of football I’ve seen for a while.

Hope Emery is watching the game to see Pool’s forwards on the move whenever it goes forward.
