What has he said?
Aston Villa legend Nigel Spink believes time is up for Gabby Agbonlahor at Villa Park.
Speaking to BBC WM , he said: "I think Gabby Agbonlahor is done at Villa.
Basically says that he is finished, nothing to offer, took the piss etc.

'Correct' isn't a superlative.
I think that was his point....

Being preoccupied with former players coming back doesn't do it for me. Villa should be looking forward now and not into the past.
But they were so much better than what we have now.....

We play with three forward players - I think at the moment the first choice three are Ayew, Kodjia and Adomah. The second choice three are Grealish, McCormack and Gestede. I make Gabby 7th choice for one of three positions at the moment, just ahead of Green and Hepburn-Murphy. With Ayew, Adomah and Grealish potentially out on Saturday, I think that should put him on the bench. It's also tremendous depth - I have no idea who our 7th choice is for a midfield berth.
Westwood?

All thanks to RDM!

Too many!

It Even took Cech a while to settle at Arsenal and he was in the PL for close to 10 years (hammers fans sang "are you szcezny in a hat?" first day of last season).
He'll come good.

Surprised at the flak he's getting.
I thought he looked pretty good to be honest. Not sure what is being expected of a right back. He did his job pretty wellHe's meant to be our Cafu obviously.

Official now. Looks like both moves hinged on each other going through.
I'm just happy that our average forehead size has been restored after Lescott leaving.

I wonder if we could send him out on loan for the season and develop him that way?
We have reputedly one of the best GK coaches in the world. Hardly much point in sending him away from him in order to develop.

Thank you Tony. You have made it exciting to be a Villa fan again.
Excited, expectant, happy, a feeling that anything could happen with regards to the Villa. I haven't felt like this since 2009 I think and it looked like we were finally going to crack the CL spots and were in second for a while I think. All fell to shit in the end but for the first time since then I'm excited about being a Villa fan.
Maybe it will all end in tears, maybe we'll win the Chamions League in 5 years time, I don't know what will happen but I fully intend to enjoy this.
UTV.

I know he is no good but the problem for me is unless we bring in a CB today I don't think we've enough cover for him to leave.
Mad as it sounds we might need to hold on to him.
The sad thing is that you are right.

Except it's 11m + add ons.
I think that you've missed out a zero to be honest. It is a reported 110m and Jim White's head has exploded on Sky Sports. It's very messy in the studio at the minute.

I fail to see why people demand that this guy should start at left back.
Because he's got bags of ability, is young, a France U-21 international, was a bright spark in a dark time in limited appearances last season. For sure he makes errors. Every footballer does but the potential quality is there and that is what excites people. He is potentially very good. Fans always like to see good footballers in the team that they support (this is probably the main one).
These are just some of the reasons why people demand that he starts. I'm not demanding that he starts just pointing out some reasons why he should. Obviously there are reasons why he shouldn't (suspect defensively) but he's a potentially a very good player and I would like to see him start. The defensive aspects of his game might sort themselves out or might not but he will only have a chance to learn by playing games.

That's just not realistic at all. Come on now.
