Do you think he had been avoiding the games or just really busy business wise?

I think Richard was referring to what I said in terms of 'Xia using his business leave as a legit reason to not coming to games thus not giving media chances in putting pressure in sacking RDM'. It was my personal interpretation on Xia's tweet.

If he really wants to sack RDM, he will come to the game and spend time with club management team to find a way forward. That was why I believed he still rates RDM.

Lets hope we get a win this afternoon.

Yes really.  Look at what was said " If he comes to VP every week to watch the game, then another draw will have to force him to make the decision that he doesn't want. "

So if the owner is hiding away not coming to watch games because he doesnt want to make a decision he doesnt want to then he is a coward.

Richard, I think you misinterpreted what I tried to say. My point was, because Xia wants to give RDM sometime to put things right, he may not want to create chances for media to impose their pressure (of sacking RDM) to the club.

I don't think your extension on 'hiding away' and 'coward' is fair one.

Does Dr Tony saying he won't be around much until the end of October mean we are stuck with this feeble manager until then ?  - Thats what I think will happen

I think Tony still rates RDM and wants to give him more time. And I think end of October (which he used his business commitment as a reason, but I think he is buying RDM sometime) is when he will pull the trigger if RDM does not deliver.

If he comes to VP every week to watch the game, then another draw will have to force him to make the decision that he doesn't want.

  4. I still think RDM should be given another 5 games to turn things around. If less than 2-3 wins in 5 games, he is out.

I was hoping Pellegrini can come to Villa, but he clearly wants more money than what can be offered in this league. Who else is an option, guys?

Not sure his tweets will be toned down @TRO following on from earlier debate where you felt he may change in time...

I think you misunderstood his tweet, Richard?

His post is basically saying: most important thing about running a club is doing 'business', i.e. Interacting, with fans, in response to another post which seemed to criticizing on his activity on Twitter.

McManaman is a hot head!! A younger version of Joey Barton but without the gob!! He just does his shit on the pitch injuring players!!!

I only know his infamous 'angle breaking' tackle a few years ago. Don't know he has injured other players?

  8. It is a shame that we are now in a 2nd division, making transfer talks soooo difficult. These days when I hear some names in top clubs who want to make a move, the first thing that comes to my mind is: Can Villa sign him?

Would like to have Cesc Fabregas as the MC/AMC or Carlos Bacca as ST in the team. Would have been possible if we are still in PL this season.

    Damn.

  9. I don't get this. JB's twitter post was responding to the following post:

We have agreed to let Joe move to Cardiff for free but not subside any wages . Wish him a bright career there as many SW fans expected!

Is JB mad at Tony because he implied that JB didn't want to drop his wages?
