They were acting like this was Chelsea 2004-12 though. Even went to Joe Cole mid game so he could congratulate Chelsea on a few shots on target.

TNT really were Chelsea fanboys so will be listening to the World feed next time we play them which is always more objective in the game discussion.

Our feed had Martin Tyler cheering for Chelsea for 90 minutes. It can’t have been any better.

The peak was when Youri got injured and hitting his fist on the turf, him stating that he was clearly frustrated that he might miss the Euros…🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. Apologies for Morgan Sanson who I've just ignored for a week (where were you on that one @HanoiVillan 😉):

Morgan Sanson (Nice) 5th/18th [Ligue 1]

Please let me know if you can't get the video in your region!

    Also,

Teddy Rowe (Gloucester City) 23rd/24th [National League North]
Home to Bishops Cleeve [Gloucestershire FA Challenge Cup Final] (2p-2) - Played 90 minutes. Missed penalty in shootout.

I see it as unnecessary antagonising which as I said could have cost us if he’d been sent off, or caused an issue in the ground for supporters.

I’d say that was worse than what Antony / Rat Face did personally but I expect I am in the minority in this board.

Funny the double standards that exist between GKs celebrating and a goalscorer celebrating isn’t it.

Arizona Coyotes leaving Arizona after 28 years and are moving to Salt Lake. Remains to be seen what the franchise will be named.

    Go local sports team!

A quote from Baseketball, one of my favourite comedies:

    Quote

Soon it was commonplace for entire teams to change cities in search of greater profits. The Minneapolis Lakers moved to Los Angeles where there are no lakes. The Oilers moved to Tennessee where there is no oil. The Jazz moved to Salt Lake City where they don't allow music.

Lakers beat N.O Pelicans 110-106 in the play in game. Didn't watch the game but Lakers got 29 free throws (and made 26) while the Pelicans got only 15 (and made 11). Maybe that was all fine but I get why people hate LeBron and the Lakers.

The Lakers get a ridiculous amount of free throws compared to everyone else. Partly because they attack the rim and don't shoot a lot of threes. They also get a ridiculous amount of star calls.

    Villa's New-found Expansion (smallheathalliance.com)

What a whopper of a thread this is.🤣

Firstly in shock that part of our name is correctly spelt (or incorrectly according to them) for the topic. Then it's basically bingo card on the first two pages. We're all from Stafford, f*nnys, Villa Park is for Girls (very high IQ posting at this point) and hoping we enjoy our upcoming 40 years of stagnation. Pretty sure they have one top half finish in the championship in about 13 years now or something ridiculous.

Anyway some actual reasonable discussion then briefly breaks into pages 3 and 4 as some points out we should've gobbled up the land for Star City when it was available in the mid 90s as could've easily got a 50-60k ground in that footprint. And we certainly can't fit that type of ground where the Alex Stadium is currently with the lack of access routes in and out.

Have to laugh at this post as they genuinely are believing the hype over this mystical ground. "They'll have to find and sell a grealish every two years and also qualify for Europe every season just to tread water. Sell off their land portfolio, hook the family silver and still fall behind our revenue generating behemoth. "

Think I could just about get by with Europe every year as it certainly hasn't done Spurs any harm being in it for last 14 years and they're missing the point that would make us a huge amount of revenue compared to what we've made in last 20 years.

I know I shouldn't be looking at it but they've been reeled in by the new ownership PR drive so expertly.
