i dunno, sly fouls that have a huge impact breaking up play that don't get punished because they look so soft has been around a lot longer than newcastle's oil money

busquets was a master of it, rodri has the same skill at city, im sure someone older than me will say pep could do it all day long too

Barca have their whole referee bribing  scandal now too, while Abu Dhabi are giving nixers to PL referees now too.

I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist here but state owned clubs should not have referees getting paid by their states.

It's not just Bruno, it's their entire set up.  Be very aggressive in the middle of the park to turn the ball back.  I've got no issue with that - it's a good tactic, working well for them - but they avoid so many bookings.

And PL referees doing lucrative nixers in Saudi Arabia is entirely coincidental.

I thought he was an overrated player. He had a great cross and could take free kicks but I wouldn't rate him as highly as our former manager.

Yeah if Paul Lambert was English or won his champions league with an English team he would have been more highly regarded.

Except that time he was proud to take money from Qatar as an ambassador to ignore human rights abuses

Less serious but his desperation for a knighthood is another blow to his good character too.

Man City are yet to be sanctioned for those breaches - when you're battling one of the most powerful legal teams ever assembled, you need to get your ducks in a row before you get into it. I think sometimes people talk about City as if they've gotten away with it.

It is a safe assumption that they will get away with it, especially when there has been diplomatic engagement with the Government from the UAE over it.

He is the biggest example of what it means to be able to rely on someone in any given situation.  Mentally tough, obviously a sponge when it comes to being coached. All teams need a couple of players like that. Without any obvious outstanding natural assets like huge pace , height or incredible passing he can be 100 percent relied upon. The main asset being he rarely commits or goes to ground early. He uses positioning to not get beaten.

He has very good pace though, just that it his languid running style and good positioning hides it.

Yorke scored 20 league goals as Utd won the league the season after the treble.

He even played 22 games the season after that and won the league again.

He did drop off after that but he was about 32

Was the best player on the pitch against England in the world cup in 2006 and was still Sunderlands most influential player for a couple of years after that. Good that he was shit for SHA before that though.

This was posted a couple of pages back.

He’s going with the “it’s an attack on me because I’m getting close to the truth” that the likes of Farage, Yaxley-Lennon and Alex Jones failed with.

He’s in big trouble. He can say he has witnesses all he likes but if there’s people saying he did x, y and z to them then it doesn’t matter about other witnesses.

Its convenient for him that he has built up a following of the most gullible, terrible lowlifes that will follow him through any allegations. Almost like he knew this day would come.
