But that tweet doesn't count because now he's being paid for an opinion
My question is, paid by who?
He doth protest too much.

Who is going to run against him?
If a candidate rocked up with the intention of cleaning up FIFA, restoring their integrity and ending the corruption, they would be about as welcome as a Mexican reporter at a MAGA rally.
If there was going to be another candidate, it would be one offering more corruption with a new improved flavour.

Have you watched the Netflix documentary?
The FBI liken them to the mafia several times, the team that prosecuted them was built up of several people who were organised crime specialists
The most surprising thing seems to be that they can't get the head of the snake
Probably because the head of the snake isn't a person, but their bank accounts.
Cut off their cash flow, and you kill FIFA.

What a mess
If FIFA is helping out with the sportswashing, what hope does football have?

Its not really US politics as such but did anyone see the awkward exchange between trudeau and xi?
There is tension there xi looks furious and that he wanted to get away from him. If thats how he feels with canada i can only imagien what he was like with biden
He is pretty much like that with any other world leader unless they are prepared to kiss his ass, and has started to apply some xenophobic policies.
Biden is unlikely to receive a Chrissie card from Xi, let alone being wished a happy Chinese New Year.

Please America, don't let this horrible human being be your leader again.

I trust Unai on this one.
I wonder if Ollie will be able to control his bowels better
Seems he didn't take the training drills for it seriously.

Zero interest, and I will be very happy for it all to be over so normal footballing programming can resume.
Reasons being, there are enough things happening in my life to keep me preoccupied. Another reason is my country is there simply to make up the numbers, and just as England have a shite manager in Southgate, we too have a shite manager in Graham Arnold. Graham Arnold is to Southgate as Bolsinaro was to Trump, so, he is quite crap, and he is taking a crap selection of our country's players to play in a crap tournament in a crap country.
I would rather watch the American version of "The Inbetweeners" dubbed in mandarin while trying to widen my pee hole with a toothpick than watch any of it.

This is excellent, to be honest. Really puts things into perspective and isn't as insular as just dealing with this World Cup.
Agree, and also thanks to @Rodders for the link. This is a gem of a website.

Glad rat face ain't playing, he's cheated us out of points against these lot season-after-season.
Hopefully VP is rocking and we get at them early doors.
He did give us that penalty shot.
The hubble telescope has managed to locate the ball. Its currently in Jupiter's orbit, and has been colonised by miniature space rats.

Big fan of Ollie, but I think I have finally had it with him.
For so long now, I have been hoping he finds form again, and when he scored against Brentford, I was hoping very much he had turned a corner, but after the Newcastle game, I have had to draw the conclusion that he doesn't belong here.
During the last game, he couldn't hold the ball, couldn't win the ball. It was like he had no physical substance, like he was a ghost. Absolute passenger, and I had already forgiven his shot in the Fulham game that went out for a throw.
I really don't like criticising our players. When there is a debate about the quality of our players, I usually stay out of it. But, if we want to improve, we can't afford to hold on to passengers, especially if they take up valuable positions in the squad.
Unfortunately, Ollie has become unplayable now, and not in the good way.

Caitlyn Jenner on Fox urging people not to make it (the attack o Mr Pelosi) a partisan issue, before going on to say it’s just one more reason to vote those soft-on-crime libs out of office in the mid-terms.
I find it a bit hypocritical when these conservatives say that libs are soft on crime.
Trump pardons the likes of Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, and Charles Kushner. Kyle Rittenhouse gets off scot free, They also legalise murder wih those damned stand your ground laws.
Last time I checked, in most societies little things like treason, fraud, and murder were considered serious social no nos.
F***ing hypocrites.

I know this is tongue in cheek, but one thing that always amazes me (and I say this as a smoker) is when someone says ‘my Nan smoked 60 a day and lived until she was 87’
Whenever I hear it I always think, well if she didn’t she’d have probably lived until she was flipping 97
Reminds me of that joke.
A guy was smoking a ciggie at the bar, when another guy walks up beside him, and starts doing the faux coughing thing.
" You shouldn't smoke. Those things will take years off your life" he says to the guy smoking.
The smoking guy replies " Well, my grandad lived to 90 years old."
" Did he smoke too?"
The guy takes another drag on his darb. " No. He just minded his own f***ing business."

No, but I can be slightly flippant.
No disrespect to Unai or Falco either. " Rock me Amadeus" was one of the greatest songs from the 80s.

He comes across as an absolute gentleman, and I think we have been blessed to get him.
Also, he does look a bit like a slightly deceased Austrian pop star from the 80s.

That he is, and he should stick to that.
However his constant defence of Qatar, and his attack on anyone against this world cup seems to go beyond what he is there for.
