I wouldn't be unhappy with Moyes, I don't hold his records at United and in Spain against him too much. His results at Man U seemed even worse because he followed a title winning Fergie, it was a massive shock to the club and its fans to finish outside the top 4. It'll not be as big a shock this season as they're slowly getting used to being crap now. He didn't do great in Spain but that's not uncommon for British managers. Again he wasn't there for very long. 

I think with us, he's got a chance to prove himself again. If he steers us to promotion he's a hero, if he doesn't then at least he'll have plans in place for getting there. He's not everyone's cup of tea but we could do a lot worse. 

I can't see many other teams willing to buy him out of contract. We'll either end up stuck with him or have to pay him a fortune to release him. Likely he'll end up staying and still be crap. Happy to be proven wrong of course.

Yep, just when a player thinks he might have a chance along comes a new manager to replace him with his favourites. For all his faults at least Sherwood was keen to promote youth. Having got kids myself, there's nothing that motivates them more than support, responsibility and encouragement.

True, but even with MacDonald in charge we don't seem to have been able to turn promising youngsters into fully fledged first teamers. It's even more surprising when you consider our generally quite good youth and reserve team form over the years. 

I think a huge chunk of responsibly has to lay with the first team managers. They've constantly overlooked our academy produce, rightly or wrongly. Players have then gone elsewhere to play more regularly and improved. We need to improve the supply line and then actually develop them in the first team. Otherwise what's the point.

Okore apparently says he would stay next season if he were to play regularly. 

Not the most reliable source (gigantic understatement alert) but he's quoted from a report in a Danish paper. 

For what it's worth, I'd keep him. If he can stay injury free and play in a settled team, could become a very useful player for us next season.

The problem is that none of us know how any potential manager will work out. A lot depends on how well they're backed financially. 

I'm in favour of Moyes, don't really fancy Pearson or Bruce, mainly because I don't like them as characters. If either got the job then I'd still support them in the desperate hope that they could get us playing well and promoted. Whether they're capable though, flip only knows. Footballs too unpredictable. 

At least his contract runs out soon.…............. Oh wait...

As most of our players can't pass more than 10 yds, westwood provides the link between, receives a 5 yd pass then makes a 5 yd pass. That way we can move the ball over longer distances! Genius really.
