We weren’t good tonight and made some ridiculous mistakes, which when paired with the terrible ref, the misplaced passes, awful luck and a great performance from Olympiacos, we were always up against it. So much about that game was frustrating as hell, with too many sub par performances to go into. If we’d not conceded that daft penalty when we did I think we’d have gone on to win it.

I think all referees are bad at all levels. They peaked with Collina and have gone down hill ever since. I’d like to see referees banished from the game and no rules football come in. Everything is fair if there are no rules. 

Referee has done his best to **** us over here, but Watkins left no room for that there.

Mudryk running down a blind alley there when he had plenty of options. I’ve seen him play a few times and he always looks poor.

Lenglet has been good for us, I expect him to fine tonight. Hope Diaby, Bailey, Watkins and Rogers are full of energy, we can destroy them with those four on form. 

I’ll admit I don’t follow Chelsea in any way, but that bench tonight, I literally don’t know any of those players. George Washington rings a bell but that’s as good as it gets. 

Need these chavvy words removed to do us a favour tonight. A 3-0 win to put Spurs out of the race and then they can return to their inconsistent worst.

I’d be keen to keep Carlos unless we need to sell for FFP reasons. When you consider he missed most of his first season, this is pretty much his first full season at Villa. He’s had some dodgy moments for sure but he’s also been excellent on many occasions. We need quality in depth and he provides that, along with European experience.
