Buatsi v Yarde, that would be interesting. You can understand why Virgil Hunter was honest enough to say Buatsi wasn't yet ready for Bivol or Beterbiev . Beatings from those kind d of fighters can end your career.

Something is amiss with Buatsi. I reckoned first it was Hearn holding him back but that’s hardly accurate. Hearn has moved lots of prospects on before and gets fighters opportunities quickly. Buatsi hasn’t even fought someone as good as Lyndon Arthur.

Yep, I'd like to have seen the referee make that decision, it was pretty clear it needed to be made. I like to see a towel in the middle of the ring, Yarde looked confused as to what he was being told, I mean, I'd imagine he was pretty confused about what his name was and what day it was, it just looked a bit messy.

Oh i agree. I was like “ Yarde is all over the shop “ it was 2-3 punches more than he needed to take.

Odd finish, but probably the right one - great fight.

Beterbiev has a lot of different tools, he can box, he's incredibly strong and resilient and then he still has the single big shot that can put you away.

    I thought Yarde was brilliant.

    Do it again!

Odd ? You serious ? Got up at 9, badly hurt, looked away from the ref. He was ****.

More tempted to have beterbiev first round , Yarde keeps his left hand far to low to go into a fight with the power beterbiev has, can't believe his been matched up with him tbh, no defense verses huge power from any angles at any distance. Wouldn't be paying to watch it either.

Yarde will probably get sparked out but fair play to him. Went to Russia to take on Kovalev and gave it a right go too. Taking on a murderous puncher tonight. Compare to all the hype Buatsi gets. He’s fought nobody.

I think the story is that people almost automatically want to jump on a transfer fee and label it as over paying when realistically that's where football is now and at the same time the bigger crime it only ever seems to be looked at in terms of value to the buying club... It should be the selling club, grealish was comfortably worth £100m to Aston Villa maybe even more hence his price

The fee thing is a moot point as far as im concerned. Your worth what someone is willing to pay for you. That’s it. Same thing with Maguire. “He’s never an 80 million pound player “ Well - they paid it so he is, technically.

Kompany has totally transformed the way they play though and have taken the championship by storm. The other teams relegated havent done so well.

I will be interested to see what Dyche does at everton. I think he will just keep them up.

So did Wagner with Huddersfield and Farke with Norwich. We know how that story goes when the step up happens. I want to see his adaptability when they can’t boss possession next season, which they won’t be able to do as much as they are now. Kompany’s 7-8 months in charge of Burnley is still significantly behind Dyche’s body of work there. Style is irrelevant at the moment . So they’ll win the championship, so did Dyche’s Burnley. Will see next season.

Really? Bournemouth were involved in loads of high scoring games in the prem. Everyone would go on about his teams having no clue how to defend or control games so in his 18 months out he certainly took stock, went to watch Atletico Madrid play and train and now Newcastle can comfortably s***house their way to 0-0s and 1-0s.

Sign of a great coach to be fair. Without ego, humble enough to recognise that defensive structure was a weakness in his coaching and as you rightly pointed out - took time to get better in that area when he was out. Bielsa gets lauded. He never really ironed out the weak points and holes in his tactics ( which come to fruition eventually wherever he goes )

Leeds have spent big this window if they gi down they could be in trouble

They invested so much in bielsa ball and it’s not a sustainable way of playing, evidenced by his lack of plan B and flexibility. Even his disciples Pochettino and Pep took his methods and added to them. They’ve now got a glorified PE teacher in charge who’s full of wonderful sound bites but little substance. So when you look at it really - 3 years out of 17 since they dropped that they struck gold with a 68 year old manager who’s methods are not really teachable anymore. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they dropped. Gnonto to Villa!!

Everton fans won't tolerate his brand of football for long.

They couldn't stand Allardyce despite finishing 8th.

Like who the **** do they think they are 😂 bottom of the table. 15 points. Average league finish since the start of the PL era is 14th. Talk about delusions of grandeur. There’s a time to be ambitious and there’s a time to pull your head out of your arse.

Dyche will be found out at a big club with expectations.

As opposed to the shiny new toy they’ve always gone with and ended up going nowhere ? I’d say the disconnect between their fanbase and their squad has incrementally been chipped away at since Moyes left. I think he’s a seriously impressive bloke and he’s far more intelligent than people think. He’ll strip it right back, he’ll promote a healthy culture within a group that’s seriously been infected by ego. For him that’s a non negotiable - can’t be in a dressing room. It’s very much likely that Dyche has already contacted Gordon and told him “ you turn up for work Monday morning “  No ifs. No buts. He’ll love Coleman and Coady, in particular the former , and probably wishes he had him 10 years younger. Don’t gimme this silly bollocks that Dyche can’t manage good players. Mee plays great for Dyche - ah he’s a jobber of a footballer. Plays great for Brentford - he’s so good on the ball.

Tsitsipas will have the vast majority of the support of the crowd in the final, but that will probably just fire Novax up.

Serbian crowd been particular wankish today. Making lotta noise between Paul first and second serve. Agreed - huge Greek/Cypriot population in Melbourne

It would still be illegal to have underage sex wouldn't it?

If the adult identifies as a child though ? I know it’s absurd but i do think a lot of it is getting into silly territory already.

  13. I’d like to be educated on this if my post seems a bit excessive but i think it’s valid giving the current landscape. The pronoun thing is gathering pace. Is it totally implausible to think that in future that a paedophile would rape a child, identify himself/herself as a child and then has a ready made defense in court ? I’m not been sensationalist here but….
