Does the line back to Sutton still stop at Duddlestone? Would that be any closer than walking back to New Street?

Some of them do but its not a great area to be walking around at night , gravelley hill is a better bet

Spot on chaps thank you. Gives me a good idea of the process. So when arriving at games, it’s not simply a case of scanning your season ticket card on a device to gain access? Someone is physically checking them as you enter?

Also, another question, where do you guys park or how do you travel there? I know a few have mentioned parking at Star City before. Is that definitely one of the easiest places? Safe walk etc.

its just touch and go on a panel as you enter , ther person sitting there just opens the turnstile , a light flashes different colour for adult or concession . Parking around the ground is around £10 with up to an hour in traffic after , thus lots of people walk to star city and usually quickly away

Has anyone actually tried to do this? How  do you claim your own seat. It wont seem to let me? I guess i will have to ring🤬

if you go on your account profile it shows that you have reserved tickets , you cant do it the usual way

Its terrible. It ruins the game as a spectacle and it needs to be stamped out. Martinez is the main culprit.

Maybe so but we are at the point where we need every point , i'm glad we finally have a team with a bit of this running through us

  5. his ego will cost him his job , sanson not even in squad , mings not starting , picking his mates. If he believes we were ok defensively we are in trouble , take the best header of the ball out of the backline and thats what happens

Logged on at exactly 5pm and got my 4 tickets. Checked at 5:15pm and the 3,370 Villa tickets were sold out. I’m assuming there will be many Villa fans in the home stands.

It’s been 32 years since I last attended the Bescot (Villa winning 0-4 in the match that opened the stadium), so where is the best pub(s) for away fans?

Very few pubs , i think the fullbrook closed down as did the saddlers club

any idea when villa will post these out? hoping they won't leave it to the last minute, think i got mine barely 4 days before the season!

Would imagine they will just reactivate last season's card again

It's **** dreadful tonight, as bad as I've seen it, it's all burnley

And it's not the performance, it was silent after Paul mcgrath was out the way, it was silent at 30 mins when we had 70% possession and 9 shots

You can blame the end of the season but it's still shit

Atmosphere was poor but certainly wasn't all burnley , probably the worst support ive seen this season considering the point took them out of the bottom 3

I’ve been watching a lot of football recently and one thing that’s stood out for me is how amazing the atmosphere is at teams like Everton and Leeds. They’ve had performances that are terrible and yet their fans have really pulled irons out of the fire support wise. Leeds fans didnt stop singing even at 3-0 down against Chelsea. We have a lot of work to do atmosphere wise!

leeds were pretty quiet when we were there this season 🙂

the problem is that last season's price was abnormally cheap. you were taking a family of 4 to a PL game for a total of less than £40. with respect, you must've known it wasn't going to be that cheap for ever

Of course but double the price? There has always been some sort of loyalty from the club to long term fans i.e early bird renewals ,  all of this has gone. There is also the fact that these seats were historically cheaper as they were inferior seats , all of a sudden they aren't. The club have disproportionately targeted families in my opinion

They have done a QandA on the villa support twitter, someone asked about ST holders could get some kind of benefit with actually being a ST holder? They replied to look out for something new when our renewed season tickets come

Sorry to see that mate, I am in support of there being increases but that’s just too massive a jump. Are you going to still have season tickets?

Not quite sure mate only payable over 8 months so about £180 a month , it's a big chunk
