  1. Anyone else worried that Wolves will swoop in for Rashica now it looks like they’re losing Diogo Jota?
  2. Haha- oh well. We get docked points and end up in the championship....
  3. The only possible positive future I can see is Trump buying the team and building a wall (funded by Mexico) in front of Guzan's goal...
  4. ....how about next home game picking some seat tickets out of a hat and letting those fans play in the squad instead? Even if it ends up being the away fans, it couldn't be much worse.
  5. Personally, I don't blame him if he wanted to leave... What would you do? Imagine, you work for a company sliding backwards. They are rapidly moving towards failure and in recent times they have shown no interest in investment. The manager has not been able to employ new staff to replace those who have no interest in working for the company. This is your career and you know you only have a limited time before your career is over - plus, you have not been offered a new contract. You know you have talent and may have potential to work for one of the bigger companies who can offer you a bigger wage and better opportunities. Would you stay with the company that hasn't offered you a new contract and is clearly sliding towards failure with lack of financial backing? Or would you look to move on? Yes - unwise to maybe mention it in public interview but I can't blame the guy for thinking about his future. We all moan about the club and its lack of direction and support for the team. We don't even work for them! Imagine being a player watching this team slide (apparently) inevitably towards relegation and no attempt to sign players to improve the situation....knowing that you are better then what relegation offers. Id want to leave if it were my company too!...as much as it pains me to say that. We can't expect players (particularly foreign players) to care about the club long term when they see that the directorship apparently has no interest in saving the club either.
  6. .... a surge in electricity around the Midlands as the TV is resoundingly turned off in a ridiculous amount of houses in the region
  7. Nice to see a comment with some slight sense of positivity....
  8. Hmmm - anyone else thinking that Garde may have, even in some small way, written off this season and is just waiting to build this club up from the ground up again and get rid of all the leeches who have delivered Villa to where they are now? His criticism of N'Zogbia was very telling... I think he is more then willing to stick around and rebuild the club again. He must have thought about that before taking the job... Hopefully the players can earn their wages and concentrate on the game and show some pride against Newcastle today!
  9. I'm a villa fan, former season ticket holiday, who now lives in The Netherlands. I 'enjoy' watching villa play online... although haven't had much joy recently. I'm hoping that me joining this site will be the first step in fate's crafty plan to take villa to the top of the league by the end of the season....
