  1. If true I'm not that surprised. He's been struggling with Spurs anyway but it's possible this ESL news hasn't helped matters.
  2. I just think the whole thing is sad, something like this was going to happen one day I feared.
  3. So that means both clubs are going against strict German football rules, wonder what that'll mean for them.
  4. I'm surprised to hear that Bayern are said to be joining this Super League, especially considering how much praise club ownership gets in Germany due to fans influence. It's why RB Leipzig are so hated.
  5. Removed so they can play games in the Middle East etc because that's the only way they'll probably get fans to go to these games.
  6. Not going to lie, it's all rather hilarious as well. Seeing the funny responses on Twitter from fans etc (especially regarding Arsenal and Spurs) have had me laughing all morning.
  7. Can't be bothered to stay up for this nonsense. Off to bed. Stay safe everyone and Up The Villa.
  8. You only have to look at the MLS for proof. The lack of promotion and relegation as really hurt the saleability of that league to the rest of the world, despite some US clubs wanting to see it introduced. Sadly it's not common in American sports and I suspect that's what they are trying to do with this so called Super League.
  9. When is the announcement anyway?
  10. Real Madrid can't even beat Getafe (still 0-0). How in hell are they super?
  11. Considering the rumour is that City are onboard with this Super League, just haven't announce it yet. We can only wait and see. I'd be surprised if they didn't jump onboard.
  12. If they do make the announcement, wonder how long it'll be before Uefa and the leagues are willing to take action against the clubs?
  13. If I remember correctly most German clubs are partly owned by it's fans or something, believe it was a league rule or something. So I doubt Bayern will take any part in this so called Super League. Man City are almost certainly involved, they just haven't announced it yet.
  14. Considering Arsenal couldn't even beat Fulham at home, how are they even going to compete against the likes Barcelona, Madrid or Man City. They'll finish bottom every season.
  15. Can't believe I'm agreeing with Gary Neville, but it's an absolute disgrace and the teams should be punished. Arsenal can't even beat Fulham for god sake, how are they super in anyway whatsoever. Glad to hear The Premier League and other domestic leagues already condemning it, believe they've already stated that any player playing in such a league wouldn't be allowed to play for their International teams but more must be done. It's just greed.
  16. Rhian Brewster must be one of the worst bit of business this season, can't believe Liverpool got Sheffield to pay 23 million.
  17. Liverpool looked awful that 45 minutes. Surely they can only improve. Remember the reaction when Southgate didn't choose TAA for the England squad, well today we're seeing why he's so overrated. He's been abysmal.
  18. What the hell happened there? We were absolutely awful for the vast majority of the game with a lack of creativity and ideas and then the game gets turned on it's head. Just goes to show the impact subs can have. Strange game.
  19. That would be something, though in China there are signs that they are moving away from football as a sound investment. Just look at the situation at Jiangsu FC and the Chinese Super League in general.
  20. I'm far from a fan of Newcastle, but seeing the way Bruce as destroyed that team is depressing as hell. Such an awful manager who doesn't belong in the Premiership. He should be thankful there aren't fans in the stands, imagine the scenes.
  21. What a stunner from Kane, absolute beauty.
  22. I've criticised him a lot myself in the past, but Bale looks like he's actually enjoying playing again.
