only 6 post ago too.... okay it was a James Corden Tweet that @maqroll posted but I hadn't noticed that before clicking on the video, maybe if I had I would have ignored it too...;)

If adomah starts tonight I am getting the train back home to London.

If Adomah starts tonight I'll probably grab 2 beers from the fridge instead of 1, down them both before laying back on the sofa and spamming the Match Thread, every time he inevitably F***s Up...

It was a great derby moment, the passion in the celebration, the quality of the header.

Which is precisely why we should stick with him

Sorry, SGC, I do admire your enthusiasm and youthful exuberance when it comes to youth and academy players but sometimes I think OMG!! maybe it's just the deep cynicism that comes with age but I don't think one moment, even if it was against the bloosers, is reason enough to hold on to a player. If we are still in this league next season, which looks likely, there are still another 44 games to play.

If we are now justifying holding on to players based on their performances against those lot then I don't hold much hope for us getting out of this league any time soon (look at the Grabby thread after he scored in the 1-0 at the end of 16/17 season IIRC) we are only a few steps away from being like the unwashed down the road i.e. basing our seasons' successes on the results against 'them'.

We shouldn't even be in the same league for McGrath's sake, and I'm not expressing that in an 'entitled' way either, this is just borne out of frustration of our current predicament which has derived from how badly we have been run for so long.

Anyway back on topic - injuries have certainly affected him, and hampered him achieving anywhere near the potential people saw in him when he was in the youth set up, but the club needs to be pragmatic in it's approach and emotions need to be removed when making any decisions relating to contract renewals/extensions.

  5. tonight 9pm Channel 4 - Teachers Training to Kill - “This documentary meets teachers in Ohio who are learning to shoot and - if necessary - kill; and explores the heated debate in America around how to protect pupils from gun attacks.”

    What were the French doing?

In their own back yard too!! First half they looked in control of the game, second half was something else entirely. France threw that away rather than Wales winning it IMO...

cheers @MickeyC_UTV I have followed the guide and done all as you suggest

    Thank you

No Worries, I'm WFH today so have VT open while 'working', I usually brows VT on my phone and it can be a pain trying to respond with links and quotes....

but good luck hope you find you don't need to charge the phone so much... also beware that sometimes OS upgrades may revert your setting so things you have purposely turned off will be switched back on again, well that is my experience with iOS...

Getting the hang of my new phone, but battery doesn't last long . charging every day. Is this normal for a smart phone ?

Earlier smartphones I would say yes but looking at the specs for the Nokia 3.1 you have a pretty decent sized battery in there, you have 1,000mAhs more than the iPhone 7 or 8

Nokia 3.1 2GB 32GB calculated battery life is

    2990 mAh

Hours in standby (approx.)                        102 h

Hours of web browsing (approx.)    13 h

Hours of music (approx.)               65 h

Hours of telephone (approx.)          15 h

Hours of video recording (approx.)  4 h

You will most likely have to go through your settings to turn a few things off if you don't need them running all the time, like Bluetooth, Apps running in the background etc follow the link below to go through some ways to reduce battery drain.

    Before you start

This guide will show you how to turn off some features on your phone to extend the battery time. Use the guide as a guideline for extending the battery life in situations when in need and the battery is low. Make sure you read all the text in the different steps when turning a service off and remember that it is easily turned on again.

As for Lineker, Shearer and Jenas in the studio, jebus, moaning about the shoulder positioning, if that had be given under normal conditions they would be throwing their toys out of the pram
