Along with the Manchester attack earlier:
Two London teenagers killed in knife attacks five hours apart
QuoteTwo teenagers have been fatally stabbed within hours of each other in London.
A 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death outside a busy shopping centre in Stratford, east London, shortly after 3pm on Thursday.
Five hours later, officers were called to the Brandon Estate in Camberwell, south London, where they found an 18-year-old man with stab wounds. He died an hour later, the Metropolitan police said.
Police and witnesses to the Stratford stabbing said the boy’s friends and passersby rushed to help after he was knifed outside a McDonald’s at the Stratford Centre.
One witness said: “At that moment there were not many people around him so I could see him all covered in blood. He was in pain and tried getting up. There were people around gathering. It was scary as you did not know if any of them could have had a knife too.”
One stall worker said he saw paramedics trying to perform first aid to a “young guy”.
“I saw police around here and one person was on the floor, I think they stabbed him,” he said. “It was a young guy. He was a black guy on the floor. I think the ambulance guys tried to give him first aid.”
A second boy, aged 15, was also found with stab injuries and taken to an east London hospital, where his injuries were said to be not life-threatening.
Police called the incident a “senseless attack” and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
DCI Chris Soole, who is leading the investigation, said: “First and foremost our thoughts are with this young man’s family and friends. They so tragically are having to come to terms with this terrible loss of life. The victim of this stabbing was a schoolboy with his whole life ahead of him. He had everything to live for.”
No arrests have been made in either the Camberwell or Stratford investigations, police said.

I want to send it back but they telling me have to go online. How do I send this back ? Been looking online and all says is email c/s and had no reply.
Did you attach the top to your email? if not that might be why they haven’t replied, you might want to put it in your CD-drive and attach that way...or possibly scan it and attach as a pdf...
Sounds totally bizarre way of dealing with things

Does anyone think Neil Reynolds was a little pissed towards the the end of the Cowboy/GB sky commentary?

I don't want to sound holier than thou, but the FA/PFA really need to put a charter in place for players behaviours
I'd ban any player found guilty of drink driving from playing for 12 months. That might make some think twice.
totally agree

put it as a stipulation in player’s contract? if they don’t want to sign the you know they are a wrong un

Watching on the telebox before he came as the crowd started singing you could see the emotion build up in his eyes (he knows he is shot the world knows he is shot but those bloody geordies love a No. 9 regardless)
Oh well he lasted 10-12 mins

Jack has been made captain to improve his game
Unfortunately that doesn’t always work though. Sometimes captaincy can be a millstone and affect good and great players, we may have seen that a few times already i.e. ‘trying a little too hard’ comments from the reaction thread etc

QuoteThere are a number of away friendly pubs near Selhurst Park, all of which cater to different needs. Please note, however, that some bars require club colours to be covered and some do not allow children.
However, rather than take our word for it, we want to give you the view from other away fans who have visited Selhurst Park.
Over the coming months we will be building up fans reviews of the best places to drink on an away trip to Crystal Palace, and you’ll be able to find them here.
In the meantime, we’ve included a map below with all the best away pubs highlighted for you.

Anyone know where most Villa will drink before the game? I am thinking around Marylebone but around London Bridge might be better. I would prefer to avoid pubs immediately round the ground as I assume there is probably like one away pub which will be rammed.
How are Palace with away fans? Is it advisable to avoid wearing Colours?
Don’t know how reliable this site is but
QuoteWith the closing of 'The Flora Sandes' Wetherspoons pub opposite Thornton Heath Station, then the choice of pubs has become quite limited. There is 'The Railway Telegraph' on Brigstock Road (as you come out of Thornton Heath station turn right and the pub is further down on the left). This pub serves Youngs beers and is quite spacious. It is then about a 15 minute walk from here to Selhurst Park (as you come out of the pubs turn right and follow the other fans). There are also plenty of Kebab and Chip shops available on the route to the ground. Generally, beer and lager are served inside the ground, although for certain high profile games, the Club choose not to serve alcohol to away supporters. The choice of alcohol includes; Carlsberg Lager (Bottle £4.50), Somersby Cider (Bottle £4.50) and Wine (Small Bottle £4.50). Alas, away fans don't get to enjoy the 'Palace Ale' which is produced by a craft brewery owned by Neil Morrissey for the Club and is available in the home sections. The nearest you will get is buying a 'Palace Ale Hot Dog'
