Dear Tony
Sack him, Wyness & Round
Bring Back Bernstein, King & Hollis.
Appoint BL with IT & JT as assistants.
Get rid of all the coaches and start again.
Look for a progressive young international manager
No more Brits who are old school
Thnx

Thats our best line up available if Elmo & Jedi are better than Bree & RDL.
So Bruce has the line up right (2nd time in a few games imho) so all we need now is the football to go with it.

Lee Johnson managed the club through a record breaking run of defeats? So if any manager did that at Villa he would be sacked without a doubt.
No
Bruce did similar and was given even more time, money, preseason......

Hopefully that will give them a kick up the backside as I think the last few games they have under performed greatly and maybe think they already in the promotion hunt.
We were so comfortable in the top four the crumble job lately has been pathetic
Who do you mean?
Players?
or
Management? (including Owner, Board, Manager, Staff and the traing cones)

Yes Sorry, I stand corrected.

They all looked like facts to me. Non of it was made up.
You‘re ignoring the FACT that
1 selected amount of games
2 We are shit because we play shit
3 OP was stating dismay at „negative views“ sorry realism views
But I forgot it‘s Xmas, a time where we are supposed to be happy.

Or how about 3 defeats in the last 19 league games, 2 of which are defeats away from home to the 2 of the top 4 teams? Or the fact we have won as many games away from home by December tan the whole of last season? Or the fact that we are in the top 5 without our striker who has scored 19 goals last year? Or Saturday was our first defeat without our captain playing since he has been out since November? I do find some of this negativity quite outstanding on this site sometimes imo.
If you‘re looking for an example to explain Delusion or Denial you‘ll find this as a perfect example of one or the other. Maybe both.

Will probably be even worse at kick off, just seen Cardiff are away to Bolton so you'd think they're likely to win that.
That's been the problem with us in recent times, just when you think we're finally going to achieve something as we closed in on second....we stop winning, start playing poorly again and the negative cycle starts again.
Been that way since 2010.
Again?
We havent stopped playing Shyite

If and when there is a complete restructuring of the club and we are struggling in lower leagues for a few years.
I hope you are ready for this
Well hindsight is nice.
But!
When we got relegated the board could have laid out a long term plan to get back up instead of going for broke. Because as of now we are breaking and it wont take much to see the whole house fall down.
Had the board gone at it differently we may have been in a position where next season is the season where the patience is rewarded, and if it went really well we may have been looking at a „shot at promotion“ with a good run in this season.
Having said that (hindsight) I fully understood the gamble. BUT! after Cardiff (january) or latest Brenford (3-0 away loss) I would have sacked Bruce and gone for the Slowburn in the hope that next season would have been the one.

Im not sure if throwing European competition into the mix would help with promotion tbh!
I don‘t think Bruce-Ball would work in Europe.
......or were you not talking about us?

To be fair to Bruce his hands were tied with how much he could spend on squad players of any decent quality. I honestly believe he was forced to sell Baker because of FFP.
However he is partly responsible for the lack of funds for money wasted in January.
The squad balance, Transfer fees & Wages paid, the age/injury prone quota of some are all tied in to a totally f*****up way of building a team/squad for a sustained promotion challenge.
It‘s December and we have injuries a many, players knackered and/or out of form.
All pretty much predictable.

Doubt they risk it unless we fall away from playoffs.
So that will be 02.01.1017 the day after BristolC

What absolute rubbish
Well you are absolutely wrong there.
So many commented on the possibility that Baker, Jedi, Terry & Kodjia would pick up injuries.
Baker a head injury
Jedi because he was injured last season, because he‘s at an age where it‘ll happen more often and will take him longer to recover
Terry it was a concern for many that he wouldnt play 10-20 games
Kodjia being brought back too early and suffering another injury
Hogan has an injury record
Gaby too (not that he‘s in any way relevant)

I expect that's true, we came so close 10 years ago and then went about things totally the wrong way after losing the playoff final and it set us back years, ultimately resulting in relegation.
In the summer after relegation the club announced a new way of going about buisiness, 2 years later we have arguably our most successful season ever and 4.5 years down the line we are 3rd and in a semi final.
If I were to go completely overboard and delude myself into thinking it possible I think I'd take winning the cup over promotion (as long as we were in the mix again the next season) mainly as it would be our first major trophy, but also European football at AG is something I'd never have dreamed being something I'd witness.
I've been expecting us to drop off for a few weeks because of all the injuries we have had- on Wednesday we had 5 players out of position, one reserve player and needed 5 youth to fill the bench- somehow we have defied this but with the fixture pile up and some very tough games my worries are still there.
Our owner is a Bristolian billionaire who invested in us because of his son, so our future is pretty secure, but he wants us to become self sustainable and promotion is ultimately necessary for that to happen.
Good luck to ya
I always wondered if a team from Bristol got their act together how far they could go. I should imagine the surrounding areas would be a potentially big pool to attract fans from.

**** hell! It’s Christmas week and it seems all people can bother themselves with is dripping on about Steve Bruce.
There’s a world of fun and opportunity out there. Get a **** life.
Dont tell me you‘re one of these people who get „happy“ BECAUSE its Xmas?
I get „happy“ in the morning when I smell the coffee.
There‘s nothing more refreshing (and waking) than a nice shower
Hey I even enjoy my eggs, Going to work, a concert or the flicks, Playing Golf, a good meal, meeting friends having a good crack, a laugh.
I even enjoy $h@9in9
In fact, I cant possibly fit that all in at Xmas, so guess what? I spread it out over the whole year, every year since I can remember.
In fact the only thing I really find shit is Bruce-F*******-Ball
