He was playing for our U23s at the end of the season, he wasn't at Grimsby.
Ok, well that doesn't change the fact that the new manager likes him.
Not really important anyway. He's probably not good enough for us. I just wouldn't write him off just yet.

Suliman couldn't get a spot on the bench at two league 2 sides.
He might not be good enough but that's not true about his time at Grimsby.
He was injured for the majority of his time there and the manager Slade was slowly but surely crippling the team. The new manager likes him, that's why he's back on loan there.
Source: I have a Grimsby supporting mate who follows them home and away.

Living in cloud cuckoo land, 10-15m tops imo, potential is there but less proven then the lad at Norwich who they want £20mil for.
Cool story bro. Cheers for the opinion.

Jack's been shipped off to the tax man. He'll be playing for HMRC F.C next season.

Other owners with actual wealth find a way around FFP. We use it as a shield to protect against calls for investment.
And then this.....Farcical

Are Man City even in for Mahrez?
I thought they just made a late offer to cover injuries in January. Didn't think they'd go back in for him.

I’ve asked the mods to close the thread twice but it remains open.
I take it all back. We won’t get relegated.
It’s not about whether or not we will get relegated, for what it’s worth I don’t think it’ll even be close, It’s the fact that this thread has been opened before a ball has been kicked.
its beyond pessimistic.

Cancelled due to FFP. Next year we will borrow some lost property from the local schools.

I'd be shocked if this happened. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Obviously I want him to stay, that goes without saying, but Spurs is the level i'd hope for him to go to if he does leave.
Leicester would show just how broken football is.

Nobody knows for sure, the point I'm making is that everyone can read and the statement is quite clear that there will be cost cutting. Buying clubs will know that and test you, doesn't matter if it's us, West Ham, Burnley, Everton or anyone else.
Well as was just posted above, you guys crack on with that. Test away.
One of the biggest things the owner has pointed to is the connection between the fans and players. If he thinks selling Jack for pennies will help to maintain that then god help us.

You can ask what you want, it doesn't mean people are going to pay it. You aren't in a good position I'm afraid, the Chairman's statement screamed of "Fire Sale" and won't go unnoticed by interested clubs. It's likely they will be willing to call his bluff and low ball you to see how desperate he is.
Who said we need to sell him?
You know about as much as our fans do at the moment about our current financial situation. Nothing.
We could quite easily make up the short fall by selling off other dross first or get one of those nice jock strap sponsors to make up the difference.
For all you and I know that's exactly what is going on at the moment.

Well, looking at the market for Championship players. Nobody has gone for more than about £15m from what I can see, so I'm not sure why he's suddenly worth £10m more than all the best players were previously. I appreciate you rate him highly, but fan ratings don't dictate the market.
Plus, as I've said... £25m gets you champions league playing internationals abroad. 9 goals and 9 assists in an entire career, does not a £25m player make. £15m rising with high target addons, buying team staying up, making Europe, getting full international caps etc. Yes, you stand a chance of someone going for a deal like that.
You do know that we are allowed to sell a player under contract for what we want to right?

I think Jack will have his sights set on better than Leicester.

What a privilege to have seen him player. Exceptional player.

Has anyone seen the posts on Instagram from Jack and Alan regarding Snodgrass? Not sure if this is also a goodbye post.
No. Can't see anything from either of them.
Where did you see it?

Sounds to me like he's happy with Bruce. With FFP currently bending us over it makes no sense whatsoever to sack Bruce and all his staff.

What if non of them are ready though?
Davies was good for 3 games, ohare failed to impress on his chance, suliman failed in his loan, Hepburn Murphy didn't even look like he'd ever played football when I saw him, these are our top rated youth players and non seem ready, you can't just throw them in their careers would be over before they started.
Green came good under Bruce but unfortunately seems injury prone, grealish is playing his best ever since Bruce came in and bree looks half decent too.
Suliman didn't fail in his loan. He was injured for a large part of it and by all accounts the manager they had for the majority of his time at Grimsby was an utter clown.
-
I think it's this simple really.
If we're going to keep the vast majority of the squad, Bruce stays.
If we're going to lose a lot of them and look to bring in some of our younger players then Bruce needs to go.
Which of these I think is best at this stage i'm not sure.
-
That sewn on badge though.
That's the real winner.

I'm sure I saw a stat that we'd recovered the most points from losing positions this season...
... it was either that or lost the least points from winning positions
I think it was the latter. Something along of the lines of if we score first we tend to win.

He said "considered". It's obvious he's talking about them in terms of importance to our squad rather than in terms of monetary gain.
