It's got to be Simone hasn't it?

He's great at organising defence.  They've already got good strikers.  I think he's taken Athletico as far as he can, he probably needs a new challenge - Arsenal have money and I'd trust him to spend it.

I think he'd be a great fit for them but he's the complete antithesis of the approach Arsenal seem to take.

I'd imagine it's Tuchel, especially with the rumors of PSG and Bayern close to appointing him.

  2. I was of the opinion that Bruce would be given the chance in the Premier League if we get there but now i'm not so sure.

I think our runs of poor form after making it to second have really damaged his credibility. He is great when defending a lead but when we need goals his tactics are bordering on the amateurish.

It might have been one team to get us up, one to stay up but I also think that extends to the manager.

  3. Thought he did very well. a few iffy moments which is to be expected but all in all a good job.

An absolute country mile better than Neil Taylor against Norwich that's for sure.

yeah switching to a 3-4. it only saves about $2.5m this year but $19m next year and $17m the year after. Will really help in resigning both Collins and Beckham to new deals.

It's weird, because they were before this past college season. Suddenly their play drops off a bit and now people seem to be suggesting the class is overrated.

I think we'll take a QB this year, and I've got a sneaking suspicion it'll be Josh Allen. For him more than anyone it would benefit him to sit behind Eli for a year and I think Gettleman will see some similarities to Cam Newton in his game.

How do you think Barkley rates with what the Giants already have?

So been back at the gym a few times since this post. Back has been absolutely fine. Not felt a thing.

But I'd still avoided Deadlifts totally. Done other back work, but not those.

Tried them yesterday for the first time. Stayed light, the most I lifted was 25kg short of what I'd been lifting before, and 50kg short of my old PB. But I could feel my back hurting. Didn't pull anything, but could just feel it. So I stopped immediately.
But today it's killing me again. Nothign like last time, but it's obviously not right.

So I think I'm going to have to knock deadlifts on the head for a while.

Anybody know of any decent alternatives that might not put as much strain on my lower back?

Does your gym have a hex bar? You could also potentially try sumo deadlifts?

They put less strain on the lower back than conventional I think.

    Anyone know how he did?

Started off nervously, miss-placed his first couple of passes but then absolutely mullered someone. My mate thinks he's class.

having a club and a super agent who represents them are completely different though.

    I said 'kind of'.

It is a similar model, but yes, Wolves are getting better players than Watford did.

It is no secret we are one of the clubs, lets be honest

He is talking specifically about Wolves.

What we have done is nothing compared to how they are manipulating the market.

  9. Can't even get the bloody thing to be stable since the latest update. Constant crashes.

I've never had issues with Football Manager like this before apart from the odd one here or there. This one just won't go more than few days in game without crashing.
