Bricking it.

This thread, much like our hopes of getting promoted, is positively Sisyphean.
Are you suggesting we are never going to get promoted?

If we make it there will this discussion still be taking place on the eve of the Playoff final?
It seems crazy to me at this stage of the season that we're discussing whether the manager should stay or go.

No need to be sorry! It doesn't matter really. If he didn't do it, it doesn't take away my enjoyment of it.
Yeah, I like his work a lot. Check out Scott Naismith's work. He uses a similar array of colours and marks but his work is mostly inspired by the Scottish landscape.

Ahh you've ruined the magic.
I was told he embellished them! Ahh well.
Oh, sorry. I'm sure he did.
I had to paint over a section of one of the embellishments because the owner of the gallery didn't like it!

Had an invite to Whitehall galleries this weekend for their 10th anniversary in merry hill.
So I took the wife today as we've bought 3 Henderson cicz's this year. Really pleased with them. So we went, we knew there'd be fizzy wine and cakes and stuff, a few lowries (sp?) and a couple of Picasso's, so interesting..
Bought another-f****g-one haven't we?
Probably my fave. A guy called John waterhouse, the piece is called "free time".
Evokes a lot of ww1 with a bit of hope and happiness in amongst the loss (which might be an odd interpretation of it to be honest) just because of the landscape.
Here's the link if you're interested.
I once worked at a Gallery/Illustration agency and had to paint over a small section of one of those embellished Henderson Cisz prints.
Really didn't want to do it, Felt wrong even though it was just a print.

At the game I found it difficult to see the difference between the shirts in some areas of the pitch so if both teams were also wearing white shorts it would have been even harder.
Their home shirt is such a dark shade of blue that the away kit would have been worse.
The best choice would have been for them to wear their white away shirt but obviously wasn't going to happen.

Time to go on a nice three game winning streak I reckon.

Think it’s because Millwall he white shorts but I agree we would have been better switching to blue or even claret shorts
This.
It wasn't a last minute fashion choice.

Arteta/Spanish/They pass the ball a lot
I see what is going on here.

Yeah, That'll be what is causing the feelings you described.
Not nice is it.

Took it this morning and don't think I'll be taking it again.
Never had a caffeine rush like it. Made me tingle and itch and I broke out in a rash (which thankfully disappeared after my workout)
I'll stick to a large mug of tea or coffee
How much Beta-Alanine is in it?
That stuff makes it feel like you've got ants crawling under your skin!

I'm right behind Bruce. I have my opinions on what I think should happen next but for now i'm putting them to one side and supporting him 100 percent.

This might have been discussed before, so apologies if so, but...
Does anyone think Sean Dyche would drop down a league (worst case scenario in May we don't go up), with the promise of rebuilding the club and having significant funds when promoted? Its probably absurd given Burnley are in Europe next year, but he's surely hit glass ceiling there, and if he's not getting jobs like the Everton one, is there anyone similar who can give him the opportunities to remodel a squad and be at a "big club" like we can?
No.

Apart from a mass injury crisis I can't see any reason why he deserves to play again. We cannot afford to have that sort of stupidity on the pitch in the playoffs.

The ace up our sleeve going into the Playoffs.

Playing well, I missed the goal. Was Taylor at fault which was why he was hauled off? Hutton coming on seems to have given us a lift.
Wasn't hooked for just that. He was truly awful.

Neil Taylor does a Neil Taylor and we're up against it making our attacking attempts far more difficult.
Need to stop throwing the ball into the box when there is only one man in there. Unless it's pin point a defender will win the header all day long.

I think Barkley to the Giants was probably the best option bar not trading down. As the draft got closer it seemed that the hype around the QB's was switching a lot.
Maybe if Mayfield had made it to two they'd have gone QB.

If i'm worried about any teams it's the ones who play football, the Fulham's and Brentford's of this world.
I'd back us against any team in the playoffs though, especially against any team led by Neil Warnock or Tony Pulis.

I really couldn't give a toss about the strip as long as it's claret and blue, but I do know a little about logo design and you're absolutely right. Maybe they will come up with a text-based logo instead, because from any distance at all that one's going to look as much like a poo smear as a logo.
Yep, you went with what I was trying to avoid saying.

That Luke logo goes against pretty much everything I can think of in terms of good logo design.
It's not recognisable, doesn't scale well, overly complicated etc. In the mock ups above it looks like a black smear.
