That article mentions he got a two year work permit in June. It could be that he's responding to....

No quotes or anything in the article. Clutching though, maybe.
Also, on work permits. If you change employer does a work permit continue over? I would have thought there would be a review.

The two division option looks awesome!

Robert Woods is OTB.

Come on Melvin, sign or go somewhere else. None of this hold out nonsense.

I can't do ten lads. Got to be up hella early.
21:00 or tomorrow i'm cool with.

Don't think Wesley is the issue. We're not getting people around him quick enough and he hasn't quite found his rhythm yet with the wide men.

Some of the comments on the first page. Good god.
Proud of them all today. That's a strong base to go from.
We will be absolutely fine in this league and we'll give some of these teams a real shock.

Lukaku to Villa for £65m? **** that noise.

It’s a proper shit chant that.
heard it for the first time at Charlton where it seems not only are the players having a preseason warm up but fans are trying out new songs.
Fair play to them but it’s a hard no from me. Will not sing.

Definitely tactical rather than them drifting in as part of their style or something. We'll need to be able to pack the midfield more in the prem anyway.
Yep, I don't think they're just doing it because they feel like it. Also, at the game yesterday it was easy to spot that when they did drift inside either Jack or McGinn drifted out wide.

You can see that Nyland has played so it's clearly going to be players on the fringe and youth players.
-
I'd be amazed if they were involved in a game less than 24 hours after Walsall and with Charlton a couple of days away.

Options innit. Different players for similar roles.

I actually think RHM, COH and Davis looked very tidy today but I think they could benefit from another season on loan as high up the football pyramid as possible.
We've done some great business but we definitely need another attacking option. Someone like Maupay as mentioned would be fantastic because he can play more than one role in the team.

Start up you say ? So no previous league history to base a draft order around then Does your league include 14 strangers across the world ?
I can't see how allowing everybody to pick their own spots would even work without being a nightmare to organise?
I'd love to know how your league arranged that so easily.
Honestly mate, it was done in 10 minutes. No fuss at all. The commish just randomised the order and the first person on the list got to pick where they were drafting from, then the 2nd, so on and so forth. Obviously once a slot has been taken you can't go ahead and say you want it.
It was just a suggestion. I'm happy with how it is, just thought i'd throw it out there.

Not really . I'm already getting used to mocking in my current slot.
If Tubby doesn't like picking first then he needs to be better.
It would be chaos if everybody picked their own spots.
It's not chaos, did it recently in one of my Dynasty start ups but i'm easy. Just throwing an idea out there.
Better start mocking from my position!

Have the VillaTalk scouting team been at it again?

Anyone fancy letting people choose their draft positions? So the person who finished last last season gets to choose their draft position first rather than just getting the 1st pick. Sometimes that might not be the slot they'd want to pick from.

Not sure @dont_do_it_doug. best position is DM so you'll need to ask him.
He's definitely a DM. A terrier of one in the David Batty mould.

I think the two separate leagues allows everyone the opportunity to have more fun. Shouldn't be too difficult to keep track of relegation and promotion?
