  1. Tomorrow will go one or two ways I suspect, either he’ll score some batshit crazy goal or get sent off.

His lack of discipline is a massive concern in a game where it’s highly likely we’ll see hardly any of the ball and he’ll be required to chase down hopeful punts upfield whilst pressing from the front the rest of the time, and I’m not sure he’s cut out for that (yet, at least).

  2. Every time I think I have an opinion on the wider debate I have to stop and remind myself that I’m neither trans or a woman, and I’m not sure if anything I think or feel is even relevant at that point.

I understand some men would prefer to live as trans-women, I understand some women are keen to protect the sanctity of womanhood. Where you go from there I’m really not entirely sure any longer.

How the heck does this xG bollox work? Fed up of hearing managers claiming they were the better team and should have won because of it. Same yesterday. Apparently wolves was higher. Let I saw Watkins clear through and miss; zaniolo great save; score twice…whilst those knuckle dragging dingle inbreds only forced Martinez into one decent save all game! Anyone looking on could see we were the better team for 60/90 minutes (I’ll give them the first 20; and first 10 of second half)

It’ll be because that one chance they had probably carried an XG of about .90 on it’s own, given that they rate penalties as being 0.80 and this was markedly closer to goal whilst still being under little to no pressure, my best guess anyway.

  4. He really does need to stop reacting so much, it’s a matter of time before he’s sent off if he doesn’t improve on it and we need him, particularly if Watkins is missing now

Oddly enough, and assuming/hoping he doesn’t get sent off, I think starting against City (if Watkins is out) might just work in his (and our) favour, just a hunch.

  5. Came on whilst they were 3-1 up, gave away the penalty (somewhat harshly) for their second goal, unsure of his role in the equaliser but given he’s a DCM he can’t have done his job too well, easily sidestepped by Barnes for the winning goal.

Absolute horror show of an appearance.

  6. It’s all on him whether we sign him or not, if he continues impacting positively as he has done recently then he’ll give himself a chance, assuming he even wants to stay of course.

  7. Great result and decent performance, had we gone a goal down when wolves should have scored it might well have been a different outcome but once we got on top we largely stayed there.

Both goals pretty well worked, yes the second was somewhat fortunate but had Konsa not mis-hit it into the net it would have been a nod-in for Duran.

Emery looked angry when he came back out for the second half, and Kellyman looked surprised when he saw Duran getting ready to come on, probably reading far too into it but hoping Watkins hasn’t had a bust up with Unai at half time.

  8. Watching Wrexham vs Mansfield and Jordan Bowery has played across the whole defence, started at LB, moved to RB in first half and CB for second half.

Hes just given away a penalty (which wasn’t a penalty, clearly a couple of yards outside the area) but my god, how did he ever pull on the villa shirt. I mean fair play to him but really, it’s a bloody travesty.

Exactly. I have sympathy for anyone consumed with a gambling addiction, but to bet on stuff that will get you sacked from your multimillion pound job, after already being under investigation is utterly stupid and moronic. Bet on something else if you really HAVE to place a bet.

Smacks of him thinking he’s above the law/legislation, absolute tit. I’d be fuming if I were a Jawdie, even moreso after this.

It's not a solution. It's an idea, and it has some merits, of course. But also some drawbacks. It would have been better never to have privatised it, absolutely, but now it is, it's not a simple reverse situation, unfortunately.

Do you mean in terms of shareholders being pension providers etc? Agreed that makes any and all industrial nationalisation difficult now but far from impossible.

I’m sick of seeing things like what the Thames Water CEO has come out and said, that in order to carry out the improvement works needed to maintain a decent level of service, bills will need to be increased. Nope, bills will need to be increased in order to carry out the works AND keep the shareholders happy/profiting.

Became a Muslim or atheist, that would do it. Maybe.

Pretty sure he’s not actually a god fearing Christian, despite how he presents himself. I can’t imagine anyone living the life he’s lived and believing in a higher power.

I did wonder if that song was the Big Brother TV theme and that's why I knew it.  But is wasn't (although it very easily could be).

The BB theme song was actually written by Paul Oakenfold, I had it on vinyl where it had much better versions than the generic edit.

It is a classic of its genre but as it’s a genre I’m not a huge fan of. There’s much better electronic music out there in very similar vein that is much better. Much prefer Leftfield or F**k Buttons or even Blanck Mass

Sorry but they’re not the same, you can’t compare Leftfield with generic trance music.

Very interesting documentary from the front lines on BBC two tonight,  Ukraine enemy in the woods. It's insane after two world wars we basically have a mini one ongoing in 2024. Humanity will never learn.

Yeah been watching it too, harrowing and raw to say the least.

I was getting my stuff out of the locker in the gym, a bloke saw me in my Villa shirt and started talking football, he's a Palace fan etc etc, then halfway through the conversation he pulls his pants down.  I mean I get that he's got to get changed but does he have to pick thay particular moment to do that?  I hate it when people are walking round with their cocks out in the changing room.

    Was it big?
