How far back in time do you go though? Huddersfield are 11th in terms of league titles...are they 11th biggest team in the country? Preston were very good before the wars, are they still big club?
Truth is, we've done and won **** all of note since the 80s, and were left behind the current elite. We're not entitled to anything because of history, if we want to be the 4th biggest club we need to prove it on the pitch and build our image season over season (not just one of top 4 finish, that won't be enough to convince anybody).
Are you sure re Huddersfield ? They’ve won the league three times (in a row, never before and never since, amazing and yes, I looked that up of course) and the FA cup once (sorry to detract from the point you’re trying to make)

I understand why Archer has been selected for the World Cup squad, but it’s a slap in the face to anyone missing out.
I’m no doctor or sports science specialist but I’m pretty sure Archer’s finished already, sadly for everyone involved, it seems he may be falling out of love with trying to get back too if you piece together some of his recent comments/interviews/actions. Again I could be wrong of course, I don’t know him, but it would be easy to imagine that he himself might just be fed up of the cycle of injury-rehab.

Yes I completely wrote him off going into November. Incredible form since then. Also barely had Tyler Adams and Alex Scott available all season so they'll be like new signings for central midfield next year.
And they’ll have a fitter David Brooks available, unsure if he’ll step up to a consistent level for the PL but he’s got a lot of talent.

Agree with this, I didn't even know it was a thing until we were promoted. We got a trophy for finishing 5th! But I guess as you say, you do have something to celebrate, and trophies lend themselves well to that.
That’s different, it’s the playoff trophy, always been that way since they were introduced, I have no idea where Derby got their second place trophy from tho

Our main one is called Pipe to Pipe Bushman, in honour of a Brass Eye episode.
I wouldn’t advise looking up what it means.

What a horrible week this will be for any SHA fan, we don’t even need Norwich to win, just don’t lose and they’re gone.
I know they’ve circled the drain previously but this is the worst position they’ve been in right? Out of their hands even if they manage to win.

Brilliant to see ex Villa cult hero Conor hourihane lift the trophy and be promoted with Derby county….was way too good for league 1
Agreed but, bugbear of mine.
What bloody trophy? You don’t get a trophy for second place, I feel like they went out and bought their own trophy just so they could have a celebration photoshoot with a trophy in it.

Spurs lost Werner to injury too, make of that what you will but he’s been a regular starter for them.

What an unbelievable job Cifuentes and Rohl have done at QPR and Sheff Weds, for obvious reasons am sincerely hoping in the case of the latter, they finish the job next weekend.
Both teams looked dead and buried upon their arrivals and have generally only been on upward trajectories since, both seem fairly young too so maybe in store for good careers.

If you watched the game without knowing much about football you’d have definitely thought Chelsea were top 4 and we were the midtable side. Much the same as the FA cup replay. I guess they only really turn up against the big sides though so perhaps it’s a compliment.

I think Norwich will be going for it, I think anyone in their right minds would prefer to face Southampton over leeds in a two legged tie, SHA should want, and definitely need it more but then you have to assume there’s a sizeable difference in quality for them to overcome.
I’m hopeful, in an ideal world Norwich score a late equaliser to send them packing, that would be beautiful.

Strange performance, strange game, we got away with one for sure.
Could be a vital point but three would have been infinitely better. I’ve been waiting for something to go wrong for weeks, all was looking far too rosey, Tielemens out, Martinez possibly out (hopefully more precautionary in his case) and another game dropping points from 2-0 up.
Hard watch but that’s 7 points to make up for spurs from their three games in hand so they’ll need to be near perfect.Thought Unai got it wrong for once, thought so at the time too not that that proves it in any way but I’d have brought Iroegbanum on when Tielemans went off personally, we had zero control with Diaby coming on.

Hoping it’s not a season ender, fingers crossed just a strain, 2 weeks out

Gutted for Tielemans, makes getting three points here even more important. Can we break the 2-0 curse, here’s hoping so but we need to sharpen up when we do get the ball, a lot of the first touches have been a bit frantic.

The next step for Rogers will be coping with teams setting up to defend against him specifically, the more he plays the more he’ll be analysed.

Hope they lose the last home game and wreck the Sty like they did last time.
Oh…
Will anyone tell the difference?
Probably just claim they’re helping with the move to the new super stadium

Why don’t we just not consider having any premier league games played outside of the UK ever, surely that just makes more sense.

Fair.
Although if he demanded I sacrifice a foot or he'd leave Villa then I wouldn't immediately say no.
I’d give up a foot, maybe some fingers too

It’s the speed at which he can turn that gets me, I mean he’s a big youth, that combination is really intriguing.

Wow, I watch that and I can’t believe I didn’t vote him MoTM, but perhaps that’s the biggest compliment, that it doesn’t stand out now, that level is his new norm.
What a player he’s become, I hope this week he can rest up that knee and come back fully fit and firing for the last (hopefully) 7 games.

You do have the choice. You can choose not to renew before the auto renewal date and you can choose to cancel after the auto-renewal date.
Hi Mr Heck, how’s the new club crest redesign coming along? Been hearing great things about it………

I don't understand what people are getting pissy about?
Because it’s clearly designed to capture those who forget / omit (unintentionally) to not renew.
Its the same kind of trick the insurance companies pull at renewal time when they send an inflated offer for the next 12 months and hope people don’t bother to question it, it’s money grabbing.
Thats before you get into the complications (no doubt) of having to cancel memberships for those who are incapacitated or worse, at least previously it would have just expired at the end of the period.
Its just not nice, and it’s very intentional.

Yep it’s naughty this is, clearly only one motive for it and it’s absolutely not with fans / customer needs in mind.

Barcelona are more embarrassing than Forest! Demanding the game be replayed from the weekend because of a goal/no goal situation that occurred in the 28th minute.
Threatening legal action too, what a joke and what a bunch of clowns, a club that has benefitted massively from cheating (financially) off the pitch for a long time now.

Fingers crossed we come out firing for the second half because that was mostly limp save for a few flashes here and there.
