Wouldn’t have been a goal if Watkins hadn’t persisted with that. Probably won’t get mentioned though and it will all be about Bellingham.
BBC live text says all credit to Maddison for the cross

yep. lots in the same boat though (me included)
i'm leaning towards a WC33, BB34 strategy. GW37 could see some rotation if teams no longer have much to play for
Without injuries, I can probably get to 8 or 9 doubles in GW34 without WC, leaving WC for 35 or 36. Will have to see how my bench looks for 34.

which DGW to bench boost between 34 and 37 will make or break seasons IMO. at the moment there's not a clear winner between the two
A FH would have come in handy...me after BGW29:

Describe England's style of play
I'll wait...
And no changes to the "style", just fitting pegs into holes regardless of who is on the pitch, rather than playing to players' strengths

DGW34 has been announced.

Bizarrely clinging onto the professional football dream by going there, would be better off going and playing non league in England, banging them in and working his way back up.
Lives in a pretty good place, however...

Says Toney has had the impact at Brentford that he expected since his return. 2 wins from 10.

Watching those VAR videos back is astonishing. It's just so amateurish. These are examples of the var team working well apparently which the powers that be have deemed worthy of public release.
There's little fixed process, the language used is not professional, the decision making process is utterly ad-hoc. It's just crazy that this is deemed acceptable in a billion pound industry where these decisions could cost clubs significant amounts of money.
How, after the Liverpool-Spurs debacle, is "confirmed" still being used without any additional wording?

BBC headline for our match is "Soucek denied by VAR". Media is part of the VAR problem, they want the controversy and clicks. Headline shouldn't even mention VAR, and, if it does, that it was used correctly, not that it "denied" someone or a team.

Granted I have Reguilon in my FPL and haven't even seen the incident, but if it takes 5.5 mins to overturn an onfield decision, is it really the right decision in the end?

Well, at least that's a curveball that I doubt WHU have put any ounce of training this week to prepare for

Well yes in isolation. But the points gained from having a free hit to use in a later gameweek would almost certainly be higher than the points you’ve gained from using it this week.
With WC and BB still to use, I think this was the best time for FH, but let's see, time will tell

The no free hitters are winning at the moment
It's really context specific though, isn't it? If I didn't FH, I would have been on 3 players without taking any hits. I would be surprised if, at the end of the GW, I would have been better off not FHing.

Reguilon red card is very very funny
I went with Reguilon + Flekken instead of Toffolo + Sels because Burnley struggle to score and Luton don't. Of course we know how it plays out...

Don't recall ever having a FH week where I am struggling to put together 3 DEFs
