    Brighton will be found out over the season. A Bosnian team that travelled to play a premier league team in a fantastic stadium with the backing of magnificent fans, they responded, played out of their skins and will be devastated to not have got a point.

    The current Villa Park crowd is reactive NOT proactive over time that is not good for the team. I cannot deny my armchair status these days but I will say that I remember days on the Witton bank and later Holte end in the late 60’s when we as a club were attracting crowds of around 11,000 for home games  the atmosphere from the terraces was more positive . Perhaps the fans were less entitled ?

    Looks like you’ve pretty much nailed it, but Tielemans alongside Dendonker doesn’t fill me with much hope. We will see.

    Would it really matter if it results in a higher league position at the end of the season ?We are not equipped for all these matches at present. Another couple of transfer windows and that might be the case. We as a fan base were desperate for European football but perhaps it came too early. Play in Europa Conference this year get experience,, qualify for Europa league next year and use this years experience after that who knows.

    Absolutely right they should play in whatever kit they feel comfortable in and clearly the current one doesn’t achieve that. Anyone there on Sunday should (and will) get behind them whatever they wear. The kit suppliers are clearly out of their depth and need to be ditched and the shirt sponsors are irrelevant because we don’t want them on the shirts anyway.

    How do you know they got a bollocking ? The manager ( in whom we trust) was probably less hysterical than some of the comments on here. We are a few games into the season and this time last year were probably relegation favourites as well.
