If Young and ElGhazi are the options then you should pick a team withou wingers. We should have played 3-5-2 today. 

If ElGhazi and Young are our wingers this year. We are going down.

It is the same team as last year but without Jack and with a left back in his place.

Yes mate. Dominating until we give the ball away and they are counter attacking. We look poor in attack and poor in defense.

Totally agree. Makes no sense. Young has been playing left back in pre season. Now on the wing.

The difference between the two sides is the quality of the two sets of wingers. Young and ElGhazi are very ordinary, while their winger are destroying our backs with pace and skill.

A good time to cash in I think, and find someone who can do whatever he is supposed to do, but better.

I don't see this calmness on the ball, unless he has acres of space. I see him hide when under pressure. Get caught out of position a lot, lose almost every physical duel, and give away penalties. 

But I also see the occasional good pass, or Brazilian flick. I also see him closing down space like Carlos Sanchez used to. But it isn't at a very high level.

Some on here think he would be a better player in a more attacking role. Im not sure which though. He isn't an 8 or a ten for me. Not in the premier league. I would generally grade his defensive skills at below average, playmaking skills at average, physicality at below average, attacking skills at average.

An upgrade in this position is the next move for me.

If he is just Is going to stand on the wing without any overlaps, then they have wasted their money.

If anything I would say Luiz is more like Kante in the sense of he breaks up play whenever/wherever he can and tries to get the ball forward quickly. If you look at passing/offensive/dribbling statistics Luiz and Kante are quite similar in that aspect, but from watching matches I know Luiz often gets caught out of position and in turn makes rash challenges. Are you sure Kante  and Luiz stats are similar. 

I suppose what everyone want is either someone in the busquets mould or kante mould. Or in a perfect world both.

we have Marv who is in Kante mould and Luiz who is more like Carlos Sanchez. (IMO)

I’m not a scout but surely there are better young talented players out there than the ones we have , and now we can afford them. 
Unless we think one of our talented young lads can do it.
