It's not possible to analyse visitor traffic without owning the site. He was probably looking at one of the sites like Alexa which do little more than guess at traffic.

The Fanderson 40th Anniversary UFO is much better than Trunk one, and I like JT's stuff.

 

I don't listen to the Trunk UFO that much although I like it. I did try getting the Fanderson version but couldn't find it anywhere I think I did see it on ebay but it was ridiculously expensive. This might have been before the 40th Anniversary edition though. I'm guessing Fanderson must have the rights to the CD versions and that's while JT only put out the Vinyl.

I don't know, someone on twitter did one of those web traffic analyser things for the official site and the whole of the Far East counted for only 0.1 percent of visitors, not sure though I never go on it myself.

Interesting to see that Norwich's last four games are against Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea and then Arsenal. Looks like they will be needing a good March.

I was just looking for an old quote of Randy's when he first took over the club about sponsoring Villa Park, I can't find that but I did find this short video interview, it's nothing significant, just the first time I heard his voice I think.

I've a feeling it's sadly inevitable that Villa Park will be sponsered one day soon, and that would be so with whoever owns us. All to do with fair play rules I guess.

I still think Lerner wants out I had been thinking he'd be gone pretty soon, but I'm doubting that now with some of these leaked stories and the supposed 250 million asking price. I don't think he'll go again because it would take too much money for us to achieve anything of any significance, but who knows? maybe he'll do his best to ensure we are not in a relegation battle until a good buy comes along at least.

Does anyone know what Howard Hodgson was meant to have said exactly? I've seen on a few places that he got kicked out of the excutive boxes for saying that Villa were for sale, or maybe he didn't say that at all and it's a bit of a Chinese whispers thing. But if that's true then it doesn't surprise me that Mat Kendrick will only report what he's told.

He's resigned but he's still majority shareholder. I think I read before that his brother-in-law and a few others including a greek guy are going to take his place, although I think his son was already involved aswel,l. They need to get themselves sorted I'm wondering what happens if it's proven Yeung bought them with laundered money.

I think they're both good managers.

Lambert may even not sign the contract, I sure don't think he'll be in any rush to do so.

My guess would be that whilst Lerner is still around we'll continue as we are until he finds a buyer. The only difference maybe is that Lambert might be able to spend what little he has on two or three players rather than six or seven.

I doubt anything will get signed before the season's over with anyway.

Someone on another Villa forum posted a list of comments made by Faulkner recently regarding the development of the North Stand and all of them were about how it's something that's not being looked at right now but might be something for the future, the one below was apparently made in 2013 as well.

 

Paul Faulkner: no, there is currently no timescale to redevelop the North Stand, although it remains something that we would like to do at the right moment in time. I have some very exciting design plans in my office, but at the moment it isn't something we are actively progressing.

I'd imagine the renaming of the stadium is pretty inevitable though.

Whilst Lambert is here I don't think he'll be given serious funds by Randy, I think he's just going to be kept on because he's proven he can work to a budget, as daft as it may seem considering we are owned by Billionaire, but with the restrictions of the last five years or so it seems we're almost the opposite to what's happened at Man CIty, maybe that's a bit dramatic who knows though. I hope Lambert somehow gets a chance to show what he's all about with proper funding, this is the guy who went to night school with Klopp, he'd have us playing like Dortmund in no time.

Despite this report I somehow doubt we'll be seeing the headline 'Lambert signs new VIlla deal' until the season is over and done with.  And I don't think it has much bearing on Randy's future anyway and if he does sell of which I admit I'm less certain now, I think any new owners would be wise to keep Lambert on for a while.

Would using a US agency to finder buyer make it more likely that the next owner would be American? I'm noticing a lot of links with China recently, the 12th most popular club in that country then I go on the official website and see you can read it in Chinese and now Hercules the Lion taking over the Chinese new years celebrations in Birmingham.
