disgusted, humiliated, embarrased.... this was without doubt our worst ever result in the prem....... kev mac's chances of gettin the job are now gone....... it was a joke a **** joke...... everybody was shit apart from ashley...... wher has our defence gone???? so annoyed, roll on 606 cos im gonna seriously go mad in about an hours time......... i really feel for the supporters who made the trip up cos that was comical...... today has hurt more than 5-0 against the pool, and believe me, that hurt...... GUTTED.

poor peformance, players happy not to lose. wud hav taken the draw befor the game but disappointed we didnt give it more of a go. milner was below par and downing was poor. carew barely touched the ball. thought delph tired a bit but was v good in 1st half defence was solid brad exceptional. brilliant header for the goal from carlos. great results for us elsewher thank god.

Who said it was perfect? In no part of the world was it 'poor' or 'terrible' though well our keeper was poor, as was our defendin at times. YOu say we look dangerous after a bad start, well i would expect nothin less at home against ten men. but then we also conceded 2 against ten men at home which i aint happy with. i just feel we could have closed out the game a bit and at 4-2 a few changes could have been made to take off the tired legs. anyway im not gonna argue bout it, im too happy bout the result. UP THE VILLA....

madness, we were terrible, dunno how we went through but we have....... **** bein loyal, guzan had a howler, the defence have no confidence with him behind them, friedal 100% in for the final.... nice goal by young, yet again sid comes on when clearly delph or albrighton shouldve been on earlier, delfounseo too, i can only think how frustratin it must be too be a villa sub..... so overall delighted we're at wembley but that was terrible display if im honest. I dont think we wud hav went through if it stayed 11 men each, but thats wat happens when the last man dives in!!! up the villa!!!

my main points from the game- Guzan is raw talent but still very much a work in progress, i was worried with every ball they put in on him, needs to be stronger and more dominant at crosses. I think dunne knew he was struggling after the first few dodgy ones so thats why he was nearly a 2nd keeper at one stage. One brilliant header off the line. The fans were fantastic, a credit to the club. Best chants of the nite were "shit on the city" which was probably heard back in birmingham cos it was that loud. Brilliant. "you've only got one ball" and "its your ground my lord" both quality too... We were so much on top in the first half it was ridiculous, but being Villa we had to make it hard for ourselves, not that the ref helped. Still not convinced bout Gabby's peno shout, but the handball was a pen all day long. they had that spell in the 2nd half which was a bit tense but we weathered the storm thankfully but only poor finishin (and good save from gab's header) kept score at 1-0. Carew would have had 2 goals today if he had played i think. (the chance heskey had when he was offside but wasnt called off. And in the second half when heskey got a touch on young's drilled cross). I think Carew wud have stuck both of them. Carlos did well at right back but luke young offers so much more goin forward when he plays. Personally i'd prefer luke at RB all day and have collins/cuellar on the bench. BOth played well though. Gabby's 5th booking i believe so he'll miss hammers game (correct me if im wrong on that). But if our own fans think we aren't capable of signing a player like Higuain then why do we bother.? yeah and get Suarez as well, Aguero too.... a bit of realism with targets mate please. He's playin quality for real at the moment, bangin in goals for a team in the champs league so if u really think he'll come i'll take your word for it.... im not sayin we cant attract quality, we can but i dont thhink any club wud be able to prize away higuian at the moment.... anyway thats just my opinion and ur entitled to yours...

this is a huge game because of the other fixtures. we need to nullify bullard as he makes them tick. hopefully no late pens will be given away like against wolves/blackburn. i would put reo coker on to man mark bullard, downing wont be able for another start yet. i'd go with... friedal young cuellar dunne warnock petrov NRC milner young gabby heskey/carew i'd usually take carew all day over heskey but heskey's finish on tues nite was brilliant.... give downing 20 mins and hopefully we hav a 2 goal cushion and delph gets a chance too
