The just demonstrated yet again what a limited manager Steve Bruce really is. If it goes well all is good but he just seems to have no idea how to change a game when it does not.

There is losing and then there is losing the way we just did. It is all about confidence and we have just shattered want we had post the Bristol City game.

Really glad my money stayed firmly in my pocket and I did not waste it watching what was obviously a complete load of doggy do.

I think TBF that tackle proved why we were right to sell him. 100% commitment and 100% reckless. Had he still been in a Villa shirt it would have been a red card or he would have injured himself and then been out for two months.

How to beat Villa in three easy steps: 1) Keep it tight in midfield, close down the Villa player as quickly as possible. 2) Wait for and expect a horrendous defensive error from Villa. Score a soft goal. Repeat if necessary. 3) Be confident and remain confident that the Villa manager has absolutely no idea how to change the game. Take the three points and laugh at how far a so called big club has fallen.

Whatever we do on the pitch my confidence in Bruce to change any game is zero.....or is it just me.

Great result, PNE’s injury problems helped but we deserved the points with a tight quality performance. Tonight was made just that little bit sweeter with SHA sliding towards L1.

Did not bother to watch the game as the result was just too easy to predict. Wolves are the side we should be given the money we have spent. I’m not a fan of SB nor for that matter I have I been screaming for him to be sacked. I just expected him to be outsmarted in this game by a better manager and seemingly he was.

Horror show from the referee who let the Bolton back four get away with it all afternoon. I was too far away to see the Taylor tackle but the referee could not get the red card out quick enough and probably shot his load as he did it. I just don't know how someone who is so biased / crap (delete as appropriate) referee at this level. Bolton came for a point, which thankfully they did not get, and their tactics, if that is the right word, was to stifle us and hoof it up the pitch and foul as and when needed. I was disappointed that we could not break the down and to be honest it exposed our short comings for me. Still it's three points so I will enjoy the win made that little sweeter by SHA shipping six goals. It was also good to listen to the unwashed neanderthals bleating about the Blues result on WM on the way home

Great result, I feel a bit giddy!

Good three points which was just about deserved but we are just so unconvincing. As OBE said above we never seem to manage to control games which worries me and we make silly mistakes mainly with our wayward passing. Against better sides we would be punished. Having said that we stuck to the task and ground out a very decent result.

They are probably all having counselling as I write so maybe not just yet.

Well there were around 12,000 Villa fans who watched it live and are probably now regretting wasting their hard earned cash.
