  1. Friedel - 7 - Did what he had to do, was vocal, and looked good with his feet, when we released pressure to you

Warnock - 7 - Didnt shirk a tackle and got forward well, accomplished first performance

Dunne - 8 - Rock at the back, bit dodgy on the deck when pulled out wide, but for this derby day a correct choice. Well done.

Collins - 9 (MOM yes i know gabby got a higher mark) - Won everything in the air, looked composed on the ball in bringing it out of the back, and sprinted to celebrate with Gabby like any of us would have done!

Cuellar - 8 - Again, solid as a rock, we needed his ariel prescence with diagonal balls.

Milner - 5 - I always say its fine to have a bad game as long as you dont hide. We all know he was having a mare, but he always wanted the ball, and was working his socks off. Thats the measure of the man.

Young - 7 - Another that worked his socks off in pressuring in his zone, won the free kick and had a great service for the goal.

Petrov - 6 - Bit subdued today was Stan, but i think that was down to our tactics, we just bypassed him, did his job though, but needs to be on the ball, to utilize him best.

NRC - 8 - Thought he was superb again today, his work rate and passing were first class ( i counted one pass under no pressure given away) his energy transfers to the team.

Sidwell - 6 - Did his job again, actually put in a good shift, but this was not a ball playing midfielders game so he was finding it hard to get a rhythm.

Agbonhalor - 10 - Scoring a game winner against the scum in the 85th minute if you have had a mare gets you a 10, but he had worked hard and brought others into the game the best he could.

    Subs:

Carew - 7 - I dont think HE changed the game, but the fact that the formation changed gave us better attacking options, big JC will always give you what he gave you today, a physical prescence with class!

Gaffer - 9 - With 2 late given finshes taken it would have made it 3-0 and the classic smash and grab result, as it was, the balls to blood 3 new of the back 4 and play Cuellar at RB gave us the platform to wint the game. Brought Carew on at the right time and made the switch to 4-4-2, well done MON, showed well!

  2. Can i just say OBE that I really really enjoy your reserves reports. Reading from the other side of the world, I can actually picture the game as described by you....and that is a talent. Cheers mate. :thumb:

*sigh* I hope all you folks really appreciate how much those of us a long long way away wish we were there. First team, reserves team any Villa team! :flag:

I will second this! i always enjoy reading your reports, and if im ever over the pond, when a stiffs game is on, im taking you for a pint for keeping me updated!

  3. I assume having an English accent aids in the pursuit of fanny?

(Though I'm acutely aware that fanny means something completely different in the USA, and its probably best not to let people know you are looking for fanny, especially if you are in the vicinity of somebody who is good with colours?)

Well i look like the back end of a dented RUC van and ive had more good looking birds than the pope has shit out fluffy white animals :)

  4. Charleston, SC. Ever get a chane, GO!

How far is this from Orlando? The parents have been on about going back to Orlando for quite a while and maybe taking a road trip while they're there. I think me and my brother may be going too, so we'll get to see a few of the SE states.

Bout a 5-6 hour drive, 1 hour flight. Stay downtown in the 'old market' area. LOADS, and i mean LOADS of fanny. Real laid back place. Isle of palms beach during the day, the windjammer bar is on the beach, then downtown at night, there loads of histroy around as well, one cool thing is that there are no buildings allowed to be built in downtown bigger than the tallest church spire so its really nice.

Pm me for any other info as ive spent a shed load of time there, been a while for me though!

  5. 4. Qualification of Coaches: I honestly don't have the time nor the inclination to go about trying to determine who has what...I am sorry. That is a bridge too far for me. Can you imagine a Director sending over to Bodymoor Heath a request for qualification badges of our Team leadership? Not a smart idea.

General, sorry you feel that way. I tried to preface the question with an honest statement, as like i said i was genuinely interested for personal reasons.

Im quite surprised with your response General, although as you have said before, it is hard to determine a persons tone in printed word.

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

    Cheers

    Dom

  6. *General, let me preface my question with this: I am not asking this question, to use the information for 'bashing' of the staff, or club. Genuinely interested in the answer. If you feel the info would in any way bring the staff or club any undue 'aggro' please pm the answer and i will not share it. Ta*

Q: What are the coaching qualifications in terms of coaching badges of our coaching staff. Below i have listed the staff per the offical site. Please feel free to copy and paste the staff and add there qualification (e.g Uefa A, B etc..)

    Martin O' Neil:

    John Robertson:

    Steve Walford:

    Seamus McDonagh:

    Bryan Jones:

    Steve Burns:

    Tony McAndrew:

    Gordan Cowans:

    Rafa:

    Mark Delaney:

    Cheers General!

  7. NRC is our best bet right now. Problem is i dont believe MON rates him, judging by not starting him on Sat. If all is not well in the dressing room, bring in Viera and let him be captain. At least players will look up to him i think, not much he hasnt won, i know hes not the player he was, but we have enough young players to do his running, we need influence, leadership and experience!
