Resurrecting this thread, after starting it 4 years ago! (Geeze time flies!)
Organising a stag there next year. Having been before both with my gf and on a different stag I think I have most things covered.
Keen on doing a good stag activity on the Saturday day time though. @Dom_Wren any ideas, I know you went there this year on a stag
More ideas welcome.
The stag decided he wanted to just chill at the pool/bars on the beach where we stayed, and do the city center at nights. We talked about a few things. Segways, cruise etc... so just whatever he ants to do.

Like most of the rest of the world then... Being born somewhere does not automatically grant you citizenship. Only about 30 countries do this and even then most of them require at least one parent to have been born there.
Google "Jus soli" It is only really North/South/Central America that currently does this
But isn't that exactly what it does in the US? And imo is how it should be.
And who says that "Being like the rest of the world then" Is a.) good or b.)right?
So at what point can the citizenship be revoked? I the parents have been here 40 years and the legally born US citizen child is now a congress member/doctor/lawyer/law abiding contributing member of society, you are now going to revoke said citizenship?
I dont know your interaction/history with immigrants/immigration situations, but i have personally been thru it and have had many interactions and have valued personal relationships with people that this would have touched, and i say its complete bollocks mate.

yeah, gonna be a bit tasty this one! When is it?

Just reading that Trump wants to not give citizenship to people who are born in the states to parents who are not legal residents.
So just trying to get my head around that you can be physically born in the USA but hes going to decide you're not a citizen........not sure i compute.

Most surrealist coaching experience in 20 years this weekend. Played against a team from Arlington VA, and Donald Trumps son played for them. It was surreal because of the secret service members that shadowed him every step of the way! Drew 2-2 and he played up front for them. Big oak for his age.

I think he's some way off that standard, and won't take us as far as Bruce - but I hope I am wrong.
I hope you're wrong too!
He will do great, were two games in and he has not had more than a full week with all of steves squad, give him a year of gaffing on the training pitch and two windows to sort out the mess SB left us with and well be grand!

Bought myself a lovely 98 Ford F-150. Single cab. Has the reliable (fingers crossed) 4.6 v8. 65,000 miles on it.
Strange thing is. I love it!!! It’s got a massive bed I can fit anything in(ooooh er) and I just toddle around with the windows down cruising low rider style.
Got nearly a month out of a tank of gas.
Which has led to the boss being garaged and taken out once a week or so.....my god this car is phenomenal. I had it serviced and the dealer said it was impeccable.
I’ve been taking out for a few miles when dry and it just puts a massive smile on my face. Again windows down. Trac key in. The exhaust sound. Jaysus!!!
I down shift just to hear it. The wife just shakes her head when she’s with me. I couldn’t imagine a more balanced package. And I wouldn’t need any more than the 444bhp it packs.
In fact spun the wheels pulling out on to highway today. “No need for that” the ball and chain said. “Every need for that” was my reply.
That will learn her.

With the backing he’ll seemingly get, and everything I’ve read and seen. He’ll get it very right. Our Eddie Howe as someone else mentioned.
If he doesn’t. I’ll piss in the corners of villa park ala Barry fry to get rid of the curse.

they do an air jordan range for every basketball team in the states (same black or white jersey) so its not surprising they have tried a cross over
i need some new boots, have noticed that the current season is all black and all white, i really dont like those new nike phantom ones though and i still cant buy a pair with the sock
Do they? I was of the understanding that they are fiercely protective of the “jumpman” brand.
From what i understand. UNC and Michigan are the two I know of in college.
Edit. And the hornets where Jordan has an owning interest.

Charlotte, Saturday evening (think we land at 6:30pm)
I reckon we'll be ok, my boss is less optimistic and reckons it'll be cancelled.
AA have said no impact to operations at Charlotte at the momentI think worst case is we'll get bumped to Sunday, just depends if there's a load of backlog I guess.
Edit: it's work so I'm not really fussed if it gets moved or cancelled to be honest
thats like 25 mins from me!
Were hearing 40 + mph winds and heavy heavy rain at the time your supposed to land.
Safe travels!

Not sure I'd have gone for bogey green myself mind you
Lol. Funny you should say that. Green was not even on my list of colors. But it’s grown on me and it was an unreal deal!

Not a honeymoon, but got back from Cancun, stayed at the riu cancun for 4 nights 5 days. Staff and facilities were amazing, food was good, rooms were average, but what got me was so much noise! When we stayed in the Dominican we had this little villa and was so much more peaceful. Would recommend for young couples or singles as its 5 mins walk from all the action. But prob wont be back.

Sadly Charleston is tainted for me. Walking through the town with an African American friend of mine. A truck drives by with four 'Good Ol' (white) Boys' (complete with a confederate flag on the back of the truck) screaming the N word at us over and over and I was apparently a N word lover.
Terrifying, enraging and as I said has tainted my opinion of the place.
Do you mean St Symons Island on the Georgia/Florida border? If so, that place is a hidden gem which is yet to be spoilt by over building/commercialization unlike 99% of the East coast that enjoys decent weather.
Blimey, that absolutely scandalous. Sorry you and your friend had to go thru that. Makes me sad, as Charleston id the place i recommend the most to people visiting the area.
