  1. I agree Flatty, is there a proven striker that is affordable? available? if he is available, then he's either not up to much, his selling club are trying to rip another club off or he's past it. No-one springs to mind. Robbie Keane is my guess.
  2. The man is tactically clueless! Hasn't got a plan B, his attitude is to not lose, if you are happy with the tactics and how he sets us out to play then you should go and watch Stoke... Also, I think the ground wasn't full because of the game being (ridiculously) priced at category AA. The highest prices for a team battling for relegation! No wonder it wasn't full, thats a joke... He's done alright for a tactically clueless manager. The one's caling for the sack are the one's sat at home! I'm sat at home, but i'm not calling for him to be sacked. Your generalisation is quite inaccurate.
  3. I thought Albrighton was lively.
  4. I think it's time for a couple of changes. Friedel Young Cuellar Dunne Warnock Milner Petrov Delph Young Carew Agbonlahor
  5. I think you'll find the performance was very very embarressing too. It was hardly an embarrassing performance. We drew ffs not lost. Are you embarrassed to talk about the match to anybody because it was so embarrassing? No.
  6. I always see MONs articles about using the squad, no **** point in him having a squad, if you're not one of his favourites, you're ****. Simple as that.
  7. TBF to the bloke he's spending half his time walking from one side of the pitch to the other, with MON insisting on his wingers swapping over every 2 mins. I think we'd get better performances out of Downing if he played on the left, and stayed on the left.
  8. I could imagine him doing that, stubborn git.

  10. Imagine sending that team out in the Champions League? we couldn't handle Kevin Doyle and Matt Jarvis. Kevin Doyle did very little against our defence today, maybe the odd run and pot shot but we pretty much contained him for most of the game. exactly, he did very little, but still caused us way more problems than Heskey caused them for the majority of the game. The first 20 mins Emile was very good, getting it down, spraying it wide etc, but there's nothing in the area from him that makes me think he should ever start ahead of Carew.
  11. MONs tactics are shite at times, no **** plan B.
  12. Petrov should have walked, he committed too many fouls.
  13. Time for Delph to get some games I think.
  14. Carew & Young were very good today, no-one else should even be in the poll options.

  16. It's great how the players tap each others ass too, quite arrousing.
  17. I believe Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler, Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher are all Everton fans, didn't do them any harm did it? :winkold:
  18. This is a huge game for us, if we don't win this I predict we might go on our usual March wobble. Wigan will have a good energy in the middle of the park with McCarthy & Diame. Therefore I'd change our formation and go to a 4-5-1. Friedel L Young Cuellar Dunne Warnock A Young Petrov Milner Delph Downing Agbonlahor I think we'll have a good chunk of the possession, Wigan will keep the ball on the deck a lot more than Stoke did, this could play nicely in to our hands.
  19. Wouldn't surprise me, but he was standing on the holte watching us against Tranmere, supposedly. He may or may not have been who knows, if he was it doesn't mean he was supporting us does it. Indeed it doesn't. Strange to read so many conflicting stories recently though, albeit they're all on the Internet, so one shouldn't read too much in to these things, the crux of it is he is no longer a Villa player, **** him.
  20. I must credit Young, he worked really hard to cover Warnock in the second half at Reading. I can't say I have noticed them not tracking back, one to keep my eye out for, although if we were playing Luke Young at Right Back then we may not need the Right Winger to track back as much, as Luke is a lot more mobile and can get up and down that line better than Cuellar.
  21. It certainly is a useful option, it wastes a hell of a lot of time though, the referees need to wise up to this, if they took that long at a free-kick or another set play the ref would have been tighter. We defended it well yesterday, as I expected we would.
