same old with villa though which is why I don't enjoy playing as them - kellyman is a 2 star player, young 3.5, wilson 3, kerr 3.5 so I'm looking at it thinking none of the youngsters will break through and 5 years+ in ill have a team full of regens
TBH, one of the things I usually do before starting a save is tweaking some of the PA of a plethora of youth players as I rarely see any actual (real-life) players go on to be actual superstars in the game.

The points deduction might stop the takeover from happening which means if they get sued(the ruling actually said 3 teams have a good case for compensation) then they will go into administration

The 777 group is just as dodgy, if not more than their current owners.

John Champion, while having lost a bit of something over the years is still much better than Drury. Been crazy to see how he's been usurped by Drury, from being replaced as the PES commentator by him, to even stuff like his inferior calling of the "Aguero" moment being the de facto version these days.
I remember he blamed Buendía for celebrating in front of the Everton fans last year for Digne getting hit with a bottle.
Also, currently gets paired with Dixon for us in the states on NBC and you can clearly tell that there is a disconnect/dislike between the pair of them.

Strange that Bournemouth cut him loose.
I understand it, the board wanted to change the style they play and Iraola was the man they wanted to do that. Everything I've seen makes it out to be a long-term project and O'Neil didn't have the same philosophy.

I’m still perplexed about the game yesterday. Firstly ref gives a pen for handball. Once checked it, didn’t think it was a pen, ok fair enough. But how the hell was it not a corner?
any penalty overturn is a dropped ball to the keeper.

I'll be honest, a part of me was thinking that he could take a yellow today and miss the Fulham game next weekend and get a bit of rest.

Not villa related but announced Hayes is leaving Chelsea end of the season to pursues opportunities outside the WSL
yep. pretty much confirmed by sources over here in the states that she is going to become the USWNT manager. Will apparently share Chelsea/USWNT duties until the end of season

I'm not sure that picture proves the ball is out - is the edge of the ball overhanging the line?
If it ism then it's in play.
I took a referee course last weekend, and this was one of the major things that was spoken about. If there is even a slight part of the ball overhanging the line, it's in play. There was not a clear angle (which is surprising) that shows if it was definitively out or not.

that does not tell you if the ball went out clearly or not, not a good enough angle.

Did VAR even look at this? Two pretty odious clubs to be honest.
ref stopped a throw 30 seconds after it happened but restarted play maybe 15 seconds later.... Commentator said they were checking VAR
