I can't see why it would be corruption - but Forest and Wolves have had the most "big" decisions go against them by some distance.
it's funny, as in terms of net VAR interventions, Forest have the second most favorable record this season.

yeah, once the center ref makes the foul call it has to be a red. It's DOGSO and even if it's in the box (which it isn't), he doesn't make a play for the ball.

just a shame that Lee Dixon wasn't on my commentary.

i dont remember what led up to their first goal but why was digne stuck out on the right side? Once the cross went in it was 3 v 2 around the penalty spot.
Tielemans and digne were in the right back position and konsa wasn't marking anyone. Just looked like a mess.
they had a corner cleared that they recycled back to that side -- not enough time for Digne to make it back to the left as he had the short option for the corner

Another weekend where we haven’t furthered the gap
we've gained 2 points on them in the last week with 3 more matches being played.

The manner of how we dropped points should be an anomaly if we’re to progress as a club
that's the 2nd game we've dropped points from a winning position all season. It is an anomaly based on how the season has gone so far.

Going back to where it feels like it started with Macheda in 2010 (*Edit Turns out i hadn't gone back far enough for the other Macheda 3-2 game in 2009 but that wasn't a 2 goal lead anyway)
2023/24 - Utd 2-3 & Brentford 3-3
14 times we have failed to win from being 2 goals up against recovering from 2 down 5 times. 6 Games Lost & 0 Won
Pretty sure we won vs Luton recently after being up 2, conceding twice then Digne winner.

Huge error by the burnley keeper. Maybe Trafford isn’t as bad as some think?

If we get a bid of £35/£40 million for him in the summer, I'd take it. I doubt anyone will pay that sort of money now unfortunately, given his injury problems, but he is definitely a player I would be looking to move on.
Shame, as there was a brief period last season where he kooked like he could have been a good player for us, but I really think we have moved on in the time he has been out.
Anything we get for him will be pure profit too as he is an academy player, and that will not be lost on the board.
Yeah, I hate to say this but I’d agree with selling him on. If we get a 50m bid (as Tanswell mentioned on the Athletic PSR pod yesterday), I figure we have to consider it. He’s played little to no role all season — and we’ve had the best season in my lifetime. Pure profit from a PSR point of view as well.
obviously I’d hate selling a homegrown player, but it might be the best way of not losing a “first team player” that has been integral to us this season. Only 8 PL starts this season

Don't get me wrong for as interesting as he was at times the ref didn't do a fat lot wrong but that shoulder barge on konsa is so **** frustrating, it was shoulder to shoulder blade, it's a foul
That's the epitome of a challenge that is given at the other end and then is also given all of the over pitch several times afterwards
1 hour ago, Czarnikjak said:Yes, but it's seen very often that chalenges in the box seem to have higher threshold than outside of the box before the foul is given.
It's just in refs nature to be cautious about giving pens away.
he's the one that gave the Chelsea penalty over the weekend I believe

Moreno was instrumental in getting us where we got last season, then got a long term injury, and because he hasn't gotten back to his best yet we are ready to bin him?
I sort of get the logic from a business perspective, but if it's purely from a " form " perspective it's a bit harsh imo
22 minutes ago, Tom13 said:Who did you think was better out of Moreno and Digne at the end of last season?
it's unfortunate, but we do have to keep in mind that the injury & subsequent hamstring surgery for Moreno might hamper him as he was very reliant on his pace and quickness.
