You've pretty much answered your own question. Jack is leaving this summer regardless of what happens to Villa and he'll leave with my best wishes.

You bolded the part that said that Villa will be fighting for top 4. So I am right or wrong?

    If you say so

Villatalk has been selling him the whole year. I mean, have some ambitions. Villa will stay up, and next year Villa will be challenging for top 4. Why would he leave?

    If we go down, yes.

If we stay up, should be £80m minimum for Grealish. In fact i'd be disappointed with 80.

Grealish is priceless and he is not going.

Anyway, I loved what I saw from Anwar. He was up against arguably one of the best right backs in the league, and did well for himself. Left wing really suits him. He seemed so much more comfortable.

Only problem is Jack also seems more comfortable there. Do we continue with Jack at CAM? I mean it worked in the championship, or do we keep playing El Ghazi at right wing where he definitely isn't as effective?

Also Trez is more comfortable on the left...

His overall play, really. He's looks reasonable but he's not standing out as being better than the players around him - his passing is pretty inconsistent, shooting isn't up to much... He works hard, good on the ball but it's not enough for the level we need.

    Sounds like Luiz and Nakamba.

You’re missing the point. This isn’t a one off. He has a pattern of small, short term “injuries” that look soft and do no noticeable damage. Even if this one is real, he has dug himself into a hole.

If John McGinn went down like that and was subbed off, there would be a very different reaction from fans, teammates and manager.

AEG regularly shows an unwillingness to compete properly for headers, 50-50s, etc in games where the opposition are up for a fight. He’s getting an unsympathetic hearing for that reason. His softness has been a recurring theme on here for a long time, this isn’t just a load of armchair doctors pontificating on a one off incident.

I'd like to see the incidents myself. Targett's injuries had a similar reaction on VillaTalk earlier in the season. So had Mings among Bournemouth fans. All I see is a pattern from fans making statements they have no clue about. But then Mings had a game where he injured himself and kept playing on. This lost Villa the game. I'll leave the judgment on injuries to professionals.

I'm pretty sure the large majority of us on here like Hause, but his clangers and current limitations aren't the type you can easily ignore.

Especially when we are in the dogfight we are.

It's not criticism just for the sake of it.

What clangers? Will this be a jinx for today's game?? 🤨

Who is that in your profile picture?

Haha, what's that got to do with Richard Dunne? ;)  I think it is the British model or something who were famous a few years back.

    Edit: Kate Upton :)

    This.

Last week he was the bees knees. He has one bad game and everyone wants to drop him for a guy who has had one good game in his Villa career. Ridiculous.

Nyland has had multiple good games since he came back, and one bad game where you can argue Drinkwater made numerous errors that led to easy shots for man city.
