Gordon Strachan spoke well there......the immorality of football. About right really, we're all as bad.........if he played for us we'd be gutted. If he doesn't we all wanna throw the key away.

Personally, I don't like how Liverpool are being punished for something Suarez did on the international break. It's not like Rodgers had any control over the situation and now will lose his best player for a long period. I thought Suarez should had just been banned from international football till after the copa in 2016.

How exactly is he just average? I'm struggling to think of many PL defenders outside of the top 7 that are better than him, and I can think of quite a few in the top 7 that he's better than too.

All from outside top 7.....I can think of any number of top 7 defenders better than Vlaar.....but like I say, opinions obviously. I missed out Curtis Davies because most Villa fans I know don't rate him - fair play, but I think he was one we let go in error.

I would imagine he is waiting on more takeover details. Wouldn't want to commit himself if potentially he could be out of job if new owners decide to bring in their own people.
