McGinn looks rejuvenated playing slightly more forward. Douglas Louis as the 6 and Sanson as the 8.
Nice balance - certainly better than at Sheffield.

Ollie Watkins has the best work-rate I've ever seen from a striker.
Are we sure he's not a T-1000 ?
Southgate should stick him on the plane for that alone.

Bloody hell judging by Danny Mills' comments these are two or the worst teams in living memory. Maybe I should watch instead of listen.

I think we’ve been the better side here so far.
Martinez hasn’t touched the ball apart from goal kicks

It's our big weakness as a position though, in terms of proper holding midfielders, we're rubbish.
Winks or Phillips?
I'm not sure Winks is a Premier League player.
Screw it play Mount and Rice for energy in the middle and get all of our attacking players on the pitch. Who says you have to play with a permanent holding midfielder?

I don't think Phillips is ready to anchor the England midfield in a major tournament, even if he has been managed for the last 3 years by the greatest manager ever to have graced the game.

I think Southgate will start two from Henderson, Rice and Phillips in every game - I have a feeling he'll take Winks to give himself an extra option in there and possibly just take two strikers.
Oh Jeez you're probably right about him taking 2 strikers
Remember in '98 when we had Shearer, Sheringham, Owen, Merson, Ferdinand, Scholes & Darren Anderton? We even left Dion & Fowler at home.
Southgate would probably have only taken Shearer and Owen out of that lot.

@TheAuthority - thanks mate, great help as ever !
I finally got my airline voucher which is valid for 5 years. I will probably go either may or sept 2022. Like you said, give it a year. I did have tickets booked for new world stage theatre (originally for September 2020 - the agent said he would honour them for when i rebook flights) but will cancel them on reflection and start again.
End of may....weather decent ? I presume September would be quite warm.
Thanks again man. Hope you and your family are safe. UTV.
Yup end of May is very decent. September can be brutally hot especially if you're on and off subway platforms.

GK: Pope, Pickford, Henderson
Defenders: Walker, James, Chillwell, Saka, Maguire, Mings, Kean, Konsa
Defensive midfield: Henderson, Rice, Phillips
Attacking midfield: Sterling, Foden, Grealish, Sancho, Mount, Rashford
Forwards: Kane, Abraham. Calvert-Lewein
That's pretty much what I'd go for. I have a strong feeling Henderson will be injured. Is Saka still considered a defender?
I'd bin off Henderson and have another striker. Of course I'd take Olly for his work-rate but it's probably not going to happen.

Finally got my Aer Lingus credit voucher for flights booked to JFK for end of May 2021 - valid for 5 years, obviously i would have to pay the extra as i expect fares to go up for 2022.
I was thinking about going to Manhattan in late sept this year but I get the feeling it still won't be the new york i remember from last time, unless @TheAuthority can advise otherwise ? (I do know you've moved out but is Cuomo still imposing big restrictions ?)
TIA
Hiya mate.
Cuomo has just announced that from April 2nd live performances can happen with up to 100 people (inside) and 200 people outside.
Thats not going to be enough revenue for the bigger venues on Broadway to open but there may be some interesting stuff happening. May gives the possibility of nice outdoor weather. I think it just depends on what kind of New York you want to see. If you want old New York, brimming with tourists and all shows open then you're probably best waiting for a year.
However it is probably cheaper than ever right now for hotel rooms and it might even be more interesting to see it in its "waking up" period after the pandemic. Certainly a lot of smaller restaurants/eateries have folded but it maybe a good time to get a table at other famous mid-range places that are normally booked up months ahead. (I'm thinking about places like Momfuku in the East Village)

Manufacturer specific charging infrastructure should look as absurd as having Ford specific petrol stations.
Isn’t it the same as phone manufacturers having different charging interfaces?

Tesla starting to tank, I wonder if there will be a panic sell off. It’s down about 25-30% in a month from a ludicrously high artificial position.
Good time to buy. It's as simple as that.
It's an apple type company. People that own their products are disciples. Tesla will be industry leaders for the next 20 years.

The almost irrelevant National Party. They got about 4500 first preference votes at the last election. A nutty mix of United Ireland / Populist Racist Bollocks/ Pro-Catholic Anti-Abortion / Anti-vax and Mask.

So absolute c*^ts then?

One of them finished like 7-2 or something! That wasn't even as long ago as Keane and Viera!
Can't imagine that nowadays. I guess the only positive is these matches must piss Sky off no end.
You're getting confused - that was the game between Aston Villa in the top 4, and mid-table Liverpool.

Yeah, you can usually bank on these games to finish 0-0. It's like they agree a truce against each other, and decide the title should go to whoever can have the best record in the other matches.
I swear they didn't always used to be this boring.
I remember Utd & Arsenal having some humdingers. Keane vs Viera era.

Watching it too. Charles stopped taking his sons calls.
What a clearing in the woods
As @mjmooney said - he's Hewitt's son. But it did seem as though he and Charles had some sort of truce over many things for a number of years. But I wonder how Charles will be portrayed now. He was seen as the villain over Diana, how will they portray him now he's ignoring her son?
Ooooooh it's so juicy. Wait, Why t f^*k do I even care?
(Honestly hearing about Meghan feeling suicidal was very, very sad. Having had my own struggles in the past it felt very real.)
