Hey wiggy, we've been looking into 4D scans and Bumps look good. Slightly cheaper than MUMS and it looks like a better package too. They have a place nr Oldbury. There's also a survey on the website that takes about 2 mins to fill in to get a £10 off voucher

Hi Wiggy, I've heard MUMS recommend by a colleague so we're going to go there for a scan also but haven't booked anything yet. My colleague/friend did say that they do a miniscan which is about half the time and price of those listed on the website if you want to save some money. I bought my nephew (now 10 months old) a Fisher Price Rainforest Jumparoo for Xmas which he loves but makes more noise than you can believe

I need to clean my patio and the last couple of years I've done it with the jet wash 'straight spraying' thingy. This year I want to do it with one of those proper patio/decking jet wash adaptors but don't want to buy one only to use it once a year. Are they any good?

When I was 18 I went on a lads holiday to Las Americas in Tenerife, fantastic time. A complete s**t hole but loads of beer, sunshine and easy women.

Oh to have a natural finisher up front. I wish Darren Bent was wearing our shirt last night. Fantastic finish when he was given offside in the first half. England are a mess, many players passed their best and scandal after scandal..... despite this I think that England will win it. They're not the best team by a long stretch but I just have this feeling (much like the last couple of rugby world cups) It'll come good on the big stage. no red and white glasses here

My missus has found a pram / travel system already...... I am still to find a more expensive one on the market NO JOKE! We kicked off all the decorating about 2 weeks ago. A lot needed to be done anyway like the hall/stairs/landing. If you get prices or availability info please let me know.

Yes wiggy, we're going to get a 4D scan done, mainly to break the second half of the pregnancy up a bit and have something to look forward to. We haven't looked into where yet (although I believe there is a place in Solihull that does it). I will need to do a bit of homework as I've been told the price of them can vary massively.

Did you go to the scan? We could see individual vertebra, ribs, his brain, stomach, femur, heart and his tackle The Sonographer even zoomed right in on his face and we could see the shape of his lips and nose. Its incredibly detailed and to see him sucking his thumb would be pretty easy to see I'd have thought.

I know including myself there are at least 4 members expecting babies so thought I'd create a dedicated thread to share due dates, names, experiences etc. I'll start, I'm expecting mt first child on the 4th August, I found out at the 20 week scan on Friday that it'll be a boy. The name we seem to agree on at the moment is Liam but there's plenty of time for that name to go out of the window! Currently in the process of refurbishing every room in the house for his arrival. Walls plastered, new doors hung, painted. Papering and more painting to be done still....

^^ I think naming your child 'something' could get confusing BTW, we do have quite a few VT'ers in the club don't we. I am expecting my first born 4th August and now know of at least 3 others who are also expecting.
