    Wear your colours! There's very few grounds, if any, where it's an issue. Blackburn certainly isn't one of them. And with over 5,000 Villa fans there you can bet it will be a sea of claret and blue!

    It could also mean we're half cooked not having a game for so long, where as they will be 'warmed up' after Monday night.

    I think people are being harsh on Wigan. The article says the undersoil heating has been running on full power for over a fortnight - it's just sod's law that it broke down at 5pm last night and they couldn't get the parts to fix it at such short notice. I very much doubt putting covers on would have made a big difference. Not sure what more Wigan could have done.

    I have a backup plan if this doesn't go ahead - Cardiff v Blackpool. A guy from work has a spare ticket and I wouldn't mind checking their new ground out. That's presuming it doesn't get postponed as well. Hopefully get to see Bannan run rings around Cardiff!

    They probably just looked at our lineup for the last league game v Liverpool which Ash was suspended for.

    They beat us at the JJB (as it was then) the first season they were up. We've not lost there since though. Really hope it goes ahead. Looking forward to it.

    It's the only night next week I could make, so I'm glad it's Thursday! I do however have my work appraisal the following morning.....best stay off the beer I think.

    If the Fulham game gets moved to the Sunday, it would be the same as if they were in Europe. A couple of times last season we played Monday night (for tv), Thursday night (UEFA) and Sunday afternoon (league). Seem to remember we did well both weeks it happened too.

    This thread is making me hungry. I really should be more adventurous with my cooking. Maybe that's should be my new year's resolution. Needs to be relatively simple and quick though....which a lot these seem to be!

    Moving the Fulham game must be what they're waiting for clearance from the Premier League. Means we both get 2 days rest after the game before playing in the league. We get 2 days rest longer before the game. Sweet. As an aside, our Youth Cup game v West Brom was scheduled for the same night so I guess that might get moved as a result.

    Disappointed, but kind of relieved at the same time. Just need to know what the rearranged date is before I can stop stressing! Blackburn have a game on Monday 11th. Birmingham Post were saying yesterday that the provisional alternative date is next Thursday. We don't play West Ham til the Sunday which is handy.

    It's not in their interests for it to be postponed.

    I'm at the point now where I want them to call it off. I'd hate for it to go ahead yet be stranded on the M6 not able to get to the game. They really need to make sure it's next Thurs, it CANNOT be Wed (from my own personal point of view).

    Yeah, met office was saying last night that it isn't going to get above freezing all day in Blackburn today.
