I love the idea of Jaden terrorising Dan Burn on Saturday night. It will make those Newcastle fans reminisce about Saint-Maximim even more, leaving them crying sandy tears into their Newky brown's. 

If he was good enough he would be given a chance by Unai. Plus, gotta make room for the next brother (Cole) to come through. 

Thanks for everything AJ and all the best for the future. If you improve enough maybe we'll see you return. 

We are going to play a lot more minutes in games this season. I think that Unai is happy with this as it gives us more time to score

We've lost a huge part of our attacking threat for a decent amount of time with Ramsey, Buendia and Moreno being injured. I hope that we address that by bringing in a couple of loan deals at the top end of the pitch.

That's true! For instance, Matty Cash can speak some Polish - shoe polish, furniture polish, car polish, nail polish etc.

Villa are winning a trophy this season. I even told an Arsenal fan at work that Villa will not only win a trophy this season but, we'll also finish above the Gooners.

That'd be some team/squad if we could make it happen this summer. 

I admit that I've never seen him play but, for some reason, I get carried away when I see a foreign name being linked with us that costs tens of millions. I read somewhere that he's the French Bailey. I hope not. Someone who watches German fussball please tell me that he's a million times better than Bailey. 

With all these links to the likes of Torres, Chiesa, Diaby and Kessie etc does anyone else get the feeling that Unai thinks he can build a team to win this league? 

Clearly, it was a strain for him to leave his home country - that makes sense. He's a young man and so it will be a tough thing to do. Thankfully, we have so much to remind him of home - Villa, to remind him of his home and the last club he played for. Numerous players speaking the same language. Tapas bars to eat at. His management team are familiar to him. He will soon settle down, especially when he goes home to that beautiful wife of his every day. 

As Lenny Kravitz would say "all I really wanna know is, who is taking the picture of him getting out of the jet and into the waiting car?"

I hope he doesn't injure himself on honeymoon....

Fabrizio Romano is the real deal. This deal is done if he's saying that. 

What an amazing signing. A Manure fan, at work, told me last week that he couldn't believe Villa would be getting this guy. He said that the scouts at Manure selected Torres as their number one choice to replace Mcguire as left centre back but Ten Hag wanted Martinez instead. 

Ridiculous signing for us and a real show of intent from the club. Thank God for Unai!

Without it, Villa Park won't ever be able to call itself a "world class entertainment venue". 

I've been in the Doug Ellis tonight for the Supercross racing event. The service was appalling, as was the prices of everything. It also dawned on me for the first time just how narrow that concourse is. It's a safety hazard for you. 

I hope that the next project we have for development is to either knock down the Doug Ellis or rebuild it and extend it back over the road.

This now leaves me calm, chilled and, in a total state of awareness to the fact we're completing only signings from abroad now and they'll all be announced on and/or shortly after July 1st.
