Seriously any chance this will be postponed now?

I'm just about to sign upto NowTV so i can watch it, I don't want to pay for a day pass if not on today.

Randomly got sent a free Now TV code by Sea Life Centre today (because we went on the weekend), I'll PM you the code to save you paying for one as I've got Sky Sports anyway.

I'm going to start Ozark soon I think.

Rick and Morty S3 has just started along with Naked and Afraid S8.

Seen a few these. Doesn't it annoy you that they do the 'Primitive Survival Rating' thing at the start and end? Seems pointless.

Do you watch 'Alone'? Similar concept but (as suggested in the name) they're actually alone, no camera crew etc. New season of that started last week and it's brilliant!

  3. I've finally decided to try PES for the first time this year, fed up of the same old FIFA game every year and fancied a change.

Saw a pre-order offer for this at £34.85, here. Anyone found anything better?

    Scoring Points

The aim of the game is to score as many points as possible during the season.

Your selected players will score points as follows:

    All players:

    • Starting XI appearance (2 pts)
    • Substitute appearance (1 pt)
    • Goal scored (5 pts)
    • Assist (3 pts)
    • Red card (-3 pts)
    • Yellow card (-1 pt)
    • Missed penalty (-2 pts)
    • Own Goal (-3 pts)

    Goalkeepers only:

    • Penalty save (5pts)

    Goalkeepers/defenders only:

    • Full Clean Sheet - player plays 60 mins or more (5 pts)
    • Part Clean Sheet - player plays fewer than 60 mins (2 pts)
    • First goal conceded (0 pts)
    • Each additional goal conceded (-1 pt)

Points are not awarded for penalty shoot outs.

Clean sheet bonuses:In order to earn a Full Clean Sheet bonus (5 pts), your player must complete at least 60 minutes of the match and his team must keep a clean sheet for the entire match (excluding penalty shoot-outs).If a player is on the pitch for less than 60 minutes and his team keeps a clean sheet for the full match, he'll score a Part Clean Sheet bonus (2 pts).

All players still earn 2 points for starting a match and 1 point for coming on as a substitute. So, for example, if your goalkeeper/defender starts the match, plays an hour or more, and his team finishes the match with a clean sheet - they will score 7 points.

Aston Villa are pleased to announce the signing of Sam Johnstone on a season-long loan.

Goalkeeper Johnstone spent six months with us last season after joining from Manchester United in January 2017, making 22 appearances for the claret and blues.

Johnstone has now rejoined the club and will link up with Steve Bruce’s side as we continue pre-season ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

He said: “I am delighted to be back.

“I really enjoyed my last spell here – it’s a great club with top players and passionate fans.

“I can’t wait to get started now.

"I believe it can be a special season for all of us and I will be working hard each and every day to produce the kind of performances that will help us achieve what we’re aiming for.”

Villa Park to host Graham Taylor tribute match

Aston Villa Football Club will now host the Graham Taylor OBE tribute match on Saturday July 29.

The game has been switched due to delays with Watford’s pitch renovation schedule.

Relevant match details, such as ticket prices and sales arrangements for the 3pm kick-off, will be confirmed soon.

Profits from the Graham Taylor OBE Tribute Matchday will be shared between the Taylor family’s nominated charities; Staffordshire-based National Memorial Arboretum and Watford’s Community Sports & Education Trust, as well as the AV Former Players’ Club and the Aston Villa Foundation.

Please be aware, tickets won't be on sale until week commencing July 10.

Hull to take on their old manager's new team first up and they say the fixtures are random?

Not that it's important but the fixtures aren't random at all, the fixtures are all manually selected. What a terrible job that must be! If ever there was a thank-less task eh?

Players are away on holiday arent they? where has this information come from? I'd be delighted if true..

I'm assuming it's from the Birmingham Mail article, although I think Wilko154 has jumped to the conclusion that he will be back for the start of the season as the article doesn't actually say he will be just that he's back in training.

Aston Villa hero Jonathan Kodjia is back training less than six weeks after having an operation on his broken ankle.

Last season’s 19-goal top scorer went under the knife in Belgium on May 4 after breaking his ankle during the 1-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers in April and manager Steve Bruce feared he could be out for up to six months.

“We are devastated, not just for him but for all of us,” said the manager. “The summer plans were always with Kodjia available for next year, considering the year he has had.

“They are telling us it is three to four months, which probably means the best part of six months.

“It is difficult but that is what football is. You suffer injuries and we have been dealt a harsh blow.

“We wish him a speedy recovery."

But Kodjia appears to be making steady progress and has been fighting his way to fitness with his personal trainer.

The 27-year-old Ivory Coast international’s injury prevented him from becoming Villa’s first player to score 20 league goals in a season since Peter Withe in the 1980-81 First Division title winning campaign.

Kodjia will return next season looking to make up for lost time and fire the claret and blues to the Premier League.

Do you remember 10 years ago we played Inter Milan at home in front of 36,000 with our new Nike kits as our glamour friendly?

Hasn't quite gone to plan since.....

Wow, 10 years ago :o I can remember that physio in his suit sprinting across the pitch just like it was yesterday!

I've got a pipe pissing water through my kitchen ceiling, and just found out that there are **** bees in one of my walls.

I should just burn the **** house down. The leak would put it out knowing my luck.

We had bees living in one of our walls the other week. Turns out they were masonry bees which apparently are very docile so unlikely to sting my son and also not destructive so won't cause damage to the building so we decided to leave them bee (sorry), they only stuck around for a couple of weeks anyway.

  11. Me and my Mrs went for our 12 week scan last week, don't think we're going to find out the gender but I've already got my son so not really bothered which we get although one of each would be good! :)

I got married there 3 years ago this summer. It's absolutely stunning.

The obvious places to go are Thira and Oia.  The latter is where you'll find the blue domed rooftops in "that" picture.

An insider tip is to visit Megalochori (that's where we stayed), and get something to eat at a restaurant called Feggera - http://www.feggera.gr/en/ It's in a great setting, and the food is all organic.  Great wines too.

Brangelina stayed in the village there too, when he was filming something or other.  It's untouched, and doesn't attract the tourist hordes like Thira and Oia.  You could probably do one of those two and grab a lunch at Feggera too.  You'll score high on the romance chart with that place, trust me.

I got engaged last weekend and we're going to be getting married abroad, Santorini has came up as one of the possibilities. Just curious, did you book it as a package or all separately? Seems quite difficult to get any information online so no idea where to start!

Just a quick heads up for those of you on here who currently have a car on finance (or in the past few years).

The FCA have launched an investigation into dealer finance practises, mainly affordability and credit checks, however there could be a bit of a PPI scenario looming too....

If any of you took 'GAP insurance' out when you entered the agreement (knowingly or otherwise), you might be looking at getting some cash back.

Early days and it could be a couple of years before it comes to a head, but worth looking through any current/old agreements and being ready ahead of the game. If some of you have had multiple agreements across a few years, could be a reasonable few quid :thumb:

Picked up my new car on Wednesday and took out the GAP insurance, they were very eager to make a point that they were not mis-selling the policy and also made us sign some paper work to agree that we understood the benefits of it etc. I thought it was a bit weird at the time.

I've had numerous people recommend Sons of Anarchy to me.

I'm 5 episodes in and so far it's utter **** rubbish.

    Does it get better?

I only made it to the end of the first season. I just couldn't get my head around the main character, Jax.

    The view is fantastic.

There are some blokes who sit near me who are so unbelievably negative and moany that it gets right on my tits.

    It's probably the same everywhere.

They sit on my row, so maybe you're buying their tickets :)

    It's definitely everywhere, unfortunately.

Sorry for being thick but, what happens if you don't renew before this early bird deadline? Does the price freeze no longer stand? I'll be renewing but not sure when and whether I want to move seats or not.

Probably best to loan him to another Spanish team in January? Which one did we sign him from? I know it was Valencia but that was his parent club...who was he doing well on loan for? Maybe they want him back.
