Also I changed my tactics to balanced rather than constant pressure, seems to have helped a fair bit.

That definitely helps! High Pressure / Team Press tires the team out very quickly. I tend to save that for later on if needed.

Stamina is a massive issue in FUT isn’t it? I’ve regular got a slither of stamina left at the end of the first half on most players resulting in me giving up soft goals late in the game because my guys can’t run.

What fitness do you start with? I don't generally let my players get below 90 fitness before starting a game. It's a ball ache but fitness cards or rotation is the way forward.

I've got 2000+ silver fitness cards saved from my earlier silver pack trading which come in handy!

I just did the bronze, silver and gold player SBCs and can't sell the ones I checked on. I'm guessing those are untradeable reward packs then and it's only the packs I spend coins on?

Some SBC rewards will be untradeable but it should say it's 'untradeable' in brackets after the pack name, and yeah the bronze/silver/gold upgrade ones are untradeable though. Marquee Matchups for example are tradeable, the packs you get in that will by far outweigh what you spend to complete it. I got Higuain out of it last week :)

How do you get so many good players? They cost a fortune and getting coins is a slog.

do you bother with the team building stuff to unlock packs and get rid of your lower bronze silver players or just transfer list them for coins?

Marquee Matchups once a week is definitely worth doing. When it first came out I made loads in buying silver players at 200-250 coins and selling them for 400+, it took a bit of time but was pretty easy.

    This is my squad now.

  5. He looked good against Derby when he came on, granted Derby were utter rubbish and devoid of any confidence at that stage of the game but still, I'd like to see him get some minutes.

Getting through Atlanta and it's a rollercoaster for me.

Some of it is brilliant, some of it is hilarious, some of it is boring and some of it is bizarre.

Just had the episode where Darius goes to get a piano... It was amazing.

Still a lot of the episodes leave me a bit cold. I feel like the whole show is really good, but could be even better. it's like it's missing something.

Strangest episode ever! Episode 8 is quite good too, not so much funny but quite nice (dedicated to the actor that plays Alfred's mother that died last year).

I really enjoyed season 2, brilliant TV.

I think at this level he’d be half decent.

I’d deffo take Huth and isn’t Abel Hernandez a free transfer too? I’d be up for him if we can afford the wages.

Apparently he wants £100k a week, free transfer or not he can go and **** swivel. There's a reason no prem teams are looking at him, he's just not that good.

Well, vasectomy done (Wednesday). Really not that bad. Haven't even had to take any pain killers following it. Just got to wait and see now and give a sample in 4 months time to see if it worked as intended.

Scrotum like a bean bag at the moment.

Seriously tempted to go down this route myself. 2 kids and I'm done!

Hourihane hasn't been that good over the two legsif Bjarnason is to come in it would be for him, no way is Jedinak getting dropped.

I thought he had a great game at VP, full of energy and getting forwards as well as tracking back. Bruce will keep it the same IMO.

  10. Forgot there was a thread for this... Anyone ever had an issue where there are no U23 fixtures? Started a save with St Pauli and the first season there was an U23 squad and fixtures as normal then after that it just completely disappeared, no squad and no fixtures. No idea if it's a bug or I'm just missing something obvious.

Yeah the Black Swan is still there, although I haven’t been in that one (yet).

There are a fair few pubs in that area, I’d love to do a pub crawl around there but they’re are all fair old walk from each other and the roads aren’t great for getting from one to the other really.

The food at the Shakespeare over the road from the Woodbridge is really nice. Also the beer at the Half Moon Inn is good, they've normally got Ludlow Gold on which is one of my favourites.

I wonder how people who have lost someone in sudden and/or tragic circumstances such as a murder or an accident are almost immediately able and willing to share their feelings publicly such as posting on social media or talking to news media. If my wife or kids suddenly died, I'd struggle to function for days. I certainly couldn't post about it on Facebook or chat to a local news crew on my doorstep as others seem to.

I thought this earlier too! Not sure if this is what you are also referring to but I saw that the dad of the little girl who sadly died in the car that ended up in a river (story) posted on FB the same day?? I'd be an absolute wreck in that position!

Update.....this girl has now got in touch this morning apologising for the lack of contact and was i free for a coffee today  ( i am but told her i was at work). What's done my head in is I've arranged to meet a new girl next week and I'm simply not capable of having 2 on the go at once, or for very long anyway. Girl no.2 might turn out to be not for me physically but we've got on really well on the phone  (met her online). No.1 girl sounds like a long term pain but has great hooters..... I've suggested a date on Sunday week but haven't heard back yet.

Lads.....what do I do.....apart from the age old and useful advice that is DHUTWU, for both ? :(

I'd say go on both dates. If it gets serious with either of them then bin the least favourite one off at the first opportunity.

Seems so and it's understandable to an extent, albeit frustrating.

I still don't understand  though why they can never, ever seem to be able to sort out the service at the food and drink kiosks. It literally never improves and it's infuriating watching how slowly everything moves when you're queuing. I generally never buy anything when I'm at VP these days for that reason, but if the queues weren't so bad then I'd definitely have a pie and a pint or two. I did go to get some food for a change before the Small Heath game because the other half wanted something, and I was waiting for 20 minutes. It's like they don't expect to have lots of people in a stadium during an event.

Have you ever noticed how there's nearly always different staff in the kiosks every week (bar the odd couple of permanent staff)? I know they use agencies to fill these roles so it's understandable why there's such a big turnover of staff, but that has to be the main cause of this issue IMO. The staff seem bewildered half the time, like they don't know how to pour a pint or where anything is. If they managed to keep the same staff every week then it might be a faster service.

On the bright side he says that Snodgrass should be available.
