Exactly they had a wobble and have now won 3 in a row I think.
Hard hit by Afcon and Asia Cup though although not many premier games in that period.
It's not ideal to have to play a tournament just after the Christmas schedule though, especially as they come straight back to the business end of the league.
I can see exhaustion catching up

I don't want to see mcginn or watkins anywhere near this squad, 2 week rest for them.

That goal redeemed him from a good slagging for an absolute terrible mistake that led to their goal.
Ohhhh....'SLAGging'!

If someones going to win this Liverpool/Arsenal game please be the former, just cant stand Arsenal and Arteta.
-
Spurs have got Brighton and an in form Bournemouth next; Its not a gimmi they are winning those!

Man Utd lose again, another point gained over them.

We need Bailey from the bench, just having that option will be calming.

TBF we have grown so much this season and there were questions he had the time to get to the level we were last year.

So does this red card reset kamara's yellow card count?

They weren't really 'ugly scenes', they were mostly very funny scenes, correctly diagnosed and treated as such on MOTD. The one big black mark in it though is Kamara stupidly grabbing someone's throat, that was not quite 'ugly' but very definitely stupid.
He didn't grab his throat he pulled his face back with his palm in the middle of a massive melle.
Rules say its an automatic red but let's not make more of it than it was.

Ben Mee is a despicable player!

love to know who Oli was talking to behind the goal.
Not much love for him from Brentford now.

Win this and we probably go top of the league next Friday. It’s another huge test for this wonderful team.
I would love to go top of the league even if its just for a few hours!

I thought he was decent.
Needs to work on his Emi impressions with the time eating though
At least Emi tries to make it seem somewhat non scripted.
TBF he did well in the time wasting dept. Still cant believe they didnt try and press him in the last few seconds

What a strange end to the game...as if they wouldnt try to break shape and press Marshall even in the dying seconds; Thanks though.
Chuffed for Zaniolio, hopefully the first of many.
Great to see the 2 kids debuts too.

Every time I see McGinns goal back the more beautiful Tielemans role gets. To take the ball turn and pass whilst it's still moving is exquisite.

We really need to replace Luiz's ability to progress the ball so i think its a good time to reintroduce the Cash/Diaby right sided partnership.
We will need attacking options.

Injuries for Utd...shame!

Interesting that the Opta 'supercomputer' now gives us 4.1% chance of winning the title, which is the same as Arsenal and more than Liverpool at the start of the season. We've come a long way, baby.
I also like us now being bracketed as 'more obvious contenders' for the CL places:

Love the super computer!
It's almost as if it looks at the table as it stands and super computes that will be the way it ends.
It's so much more than a normal computer!

Hes becoming vital to the way we play, such a cultured centre back!
-
I wonder whether the Carlos/Pau partnership will allow Ezri a much needed break for a few weeks.
We will need him fit and energised for the second half of the season.
-
We are not going to be in the title race come the end of the season...but we are currently!

We aren’t bringing Monchi on board to negotiate for the likes of Solanke let’s be real.
Solanke is the type of player that got Everton in trouble!

Had a look out of interest and it’s only actually 375-1. Still worth a sneaky pound.
If you put a grand on it you will be loaded!

We all knew this was what he was bought for. He was too old to be with the kids and barely even set foot at bodymore.
Seems like a good bit of business especially if we could replicate it.
